Soone took care of the task, so naturally, all that’s left is to wait for it to be completed and then go collect what’s ours directly.

But before actually getting down to it, Gao Yang was surprised to find out that his preparations weren’t enough. Initially, he planned to et Dmitry personally, and as for how to get the blueprints out and how to handle the people, he figured they’d work it out slowly after eting. But who would’ve thought that, due to a coincidence, this all needs to be done in a day?

It’s easy to talk about the blueprints, but organizing a bunch of people to leave is a whole other issue.

Finding a place to detain them seems inappropriate, but letting them leave each to their own ho is even less appropriate. Keeping them under soft detention seems off as well, but regardless, these people need a place to stay.

Originally, Gao Yang wanted to gather everyone and send them off together, but now he doesn’t want to contact Huaxia too soon. And even if he does contact them, what if they don’t agree to his terms? At that point, the stakes would need to be increased. But if that’s the case, they can’t hand over the blueprints and people, so things are a bit tricky now.

"Where should I arrange for them?"

Watching Gao Yang, who seed rather distressed, Yarebin said in a deep voice, "It’s best to let them stay in prison for a few more days to make them face reality. Then you can step in, and everything will be easier to handle."

Gao Yang nodded and said, "Alright, we’ll keep them for a few days, and release them once everything is arranged. Let’s get the blueprints today so that I can feel at ease."

Soon after, Gao Yang received a phone call, imdiately stood up, laughed heartily, and shouted, "Gentlen, co with to get the spoils!"

Yarebin rolled his eyes and whispered to Gao Yang, "Spoils of what?"

Gao Yang spread his hands and laughed, "Of course, the blueprints. It’s settled. We’re going to the Antonov Design Bureau to take away the blueprints they’ve been holding onto for decades. No one will stop us, but we have to be quick."

Yarebin licked his lips and then curiously asked Gao Yang, "I noticed you used the word ’take,’ so tell , how are we supposed to ’take’ the blueprints?"

Ram asked in a puzzled manner, "Take? Just take them? We go in, gather all the necessary blueprints, and then leave, just like that."

Yarebin, his face turning dark, touched his own face and nodded, "Alright, take them!"

Glewatov said helplessly, "Gao, do you even know what you’re saying? Or perhaps you have no idea how much a plane’s blueprints entail, correct?"

Gao Yang exclaid in shock, "I thought, no, I always thought the blueprints were in file folders. We go in, pick up so folders, check them to make sure they’re the ones we need, and just take them. Isn’t it always like this? Maybe the folders are a little bigger, a little more? Isn’t that how it works?"

Tarta shrugged helplessly and said, "If I rember correctly, the design and manufacturing blueprints for the An-72 are about four tons. The engine blueprints weigh about two tons. Engine blueprints are theoretically stored at the engine manufacturing plant, but in the Soviet Union, they typically have full backups at the aircraft design and manufacturing facility. So all the blueprints and data for this type of aircraft weigh around seven tons."

Gao Yang foolishly said, "Seven tons? Curtis! Aren’t movies just about stealing a couple of sheets of paper? Now you’re telling a plane’s blueprints weigh several tons?"

Yarebin sighed and said helplessly, "That’s just the blueprints for one type of aircraft, and in the archives of the Antonov Design Bureau, there are at least dozens of models of plane blueprints. Each variant has its own set of blueprints, engine blueprints, and docunts like material standards needed for the aircraft. Do you want a few of us to ’take’ them back? Also, for the blueprints of the An-225 super heavy plane, uh, I don’t know how much they weigh, but I doubt one truck can carry them. As for the main target, the An-124’s blueprints, similarly, one truck definitely can’t carry them."

Gao Yang fell back onto the sofa, stunned, saying, "It’s the computer era now, shouldn’t we just take an external hard drive?"

Tarta looked at Gao Yang with sympathy and shook his head, then said softly, "No, maybe now they do have digital backups, but you must take the original blueprints, the several tons of paper ones, because they’re more secure and reliable."

Gao Yang let out a sigh, weakly saying, "Alright, so now we’re talking about moving out at least dozens of tons of stuff, right?"

Yarebin slowly replied, "It’s blueprints. Paper is heavy, but not extrely so, which ans the volu will be large. You can use one truck to haul dozens of tons of rocks or steel, but you can’t use one truck to haul dozens of tons of blueprints. Plus, blueprints are precious and important and need careful, proper protection, so I’d say you need at least ten heavy trucks."

Lebyazhef laughed, "You’ll also need at least a few dozen movers. You can’t use forklifts to load blueprints, can you? Just so you know, there usually aren’t forklifts in a climate-controlled archive."

Gao Yang exhaled and shook his head, saying helplessly, "You all should have told earlier. Sorry, I was ignorant. I really thought blueprints were just a few sheets. Growing up, the movies I watched were all like that, and the novels I read were too. One person sneaks into a heavily guarded place to steal a few sheets of paper or take a few photos, and it’s done. I genuinely thought it was like that."

Yarebin laughed, "Unfortunate, you’ve been deceived. If stealing data were that simple, what need would there be for us?"

Glewatov also laughed, "If stealing data were that easy, there wouldn’t be any technological barriers in the world."

Gao Yang smiled bitterly, "Alright, I’ll start looking for a fleet of trucks, and so movers. Damn, with ti being tight, where should I find a reliable trucking company?"

Sighing, Gao Yang called Shava because he had no one as reliable as Shava. Once Shava answered, Gao Yang imdiately said, "Brother, whatever you’re doing, find a fleet of trucks and so exceptionally reliable people. I need to move house."

"Move house? I love moving! Hmm, what kind of move? Like last ti?"

Gao Yang laughed and said loudly, "That’s right, sa as last ti, emptying out a whole warehouse. So find plenty of people, and also get quite a few trucks. I think ten should be enough. Once you’ve sorted it, give a call. It’s quite urgent."
