Zhang Zhiguo was extrely straightforward. Knowing Gao Yang’s request, he said without hesitation, "Okay, I got it. Soone from the country will definitely arrive within three days. The schedule is tight, so I have to catch a direct flight back ho. Mr. Gao, I’ll take my leave now."

Gao Yang nodded, stood up, extended his hand to Zhang Zhiguo, and smiled, "I hope we can reach an agreent. After all, I’m also a Huaxia person."

Zhang Zhiguo nodded, shook hands with Gao Yang, and then said, "Thank you, we will surely reach an agreent. Goodbye, Mr. Gao."

Zhang Zhiguo picked up the suitcase, nodded to Gao Yang again, and swiftly left, hurrying out of the café. After getting into a car, he quickly drove away.

Watching Zhang Zhiguo completely leave, Gao Yang exhaled a long breath, stood up, and sat beside Yarebin, jokingly saying, "How did I do?"

Yarebin shrugged and said, "Not bad. You showed determination, and your montum was okay. Actually, there’s no real technique in this kind of negotiation. It’s a deal both sides are eager to complete, so it naturally doesn’t require any negotiation skills. The hard part cos later, when you discuss the specific conditions in the next eting. That’s when the real test of skills cos."

"Next ti, it’ll be your turn. You can negotiate on my behalf."

Yarebin shook his head and said, "I won’t negotiate."

"Ah, you won’t negotiate? What do you an?"

Yarebin rarely admits he’s unable to do sothing. He replied reluctantly, "Do we have anything we need to negotiate? We just go in hard or create favorable conditions for others’ negotiations. But when has the Black Demon ever needed to negotiate personally? So, I really have no negotiation experience."

Gao Yang said disappointedly, "You’re right. So what should we do? Should I find a negotiation expert?"

Yarebin laughed and said, "No need. Though I lack experience, completing such a negotiation that doesn’t require techniques isn’t an issue. However, you have to be present. If you can’t handle it, I’ll step in. Negotiation involves more than one person. It’s easy to reach a deadlock alone, but having an assistant makes it much easier."

Gao Yang laughed and said, "Exactly, one plays the good cop, the other the bad cop. That’s how it goes."

After finishing speaking, Gao Yang looked around and laughed, "We’re already here. It’s unreasonable not to have a cup of coffee. Let them all co in. We’ll have coffee before we leave."

Glewatov waved to soone outside the window, then sat opposite Gao Yang and solemnly asked, "How’s it going? Any psychological shadows left?"

Gao Yang pondered for a mont, then shook his head, "None. Do you know how I feel now? Unprecedentedly relaxed. Whenever I thought of my identity, or my parents, I’d get nervous. Even if I knew nothing would happen, I’d still be tense. But now, even though the deal hasn’t officially started, I don’t feel nervous at all because I understand I now have enough strength. Actually, from the mont I got out of the car and walked into this café, I stopped being nervous."

Glewatov nodded and said softly, "Very good."

After Tarta and Rostotsky sat down and ordered coffee, Gao Yang let out a long sigh, smiled and said, "I brought you guys here for support, but now it seems like you’ve co for nothing."

Yarebin said indifferently, "No, that Zhang Zhiguo could tell who we are."

Gao Yang and Glewatov also said calmly, "By standing here, he could see who we are because we are of the sa kind. So by standing here as your subordinates, it proves your strength."

Gao Yang curiously asked, "How could he tell?"

Glewatov smiled faintly and said softly, "If a few rcenaries stood here, could you recognize them?"

Gao Yang imdiately replied, "I can, I understand. But it doesn’t make sense. If just because they are the sa kind, they can be recognized, how could spies work? What’s the point of agents?"

Glewatov shook his head, "It’s different. We are proactively revealing our identities. I contacted Mr. Zhang, which in itself is an act of revealing our identity. You don’t quite understand these things. How should I put it? Sotis agents need to cooperate. They can’t always work in the shadows."

Gao Yang nodded, "I see. I still don’t fully understand, but I get the gist now."

Rostotsky said with a nostalgic look, "It’s been so long since I’ve dealt with peers. I miss it. Enemies of the past have now beco bystanders. It’s a very peculiar feeling, very peculiar."

Gao Yang curiously asked, "What, you were once enemies?"

Yarebin replied irritably, "Between the intelligence departnts of great nations, of course, they are enemies. Even allies like Arica and the United Kingdom; their intelligence agencies are also enemies."

Tarta laughed and said, "Huaxia used to be quite a formidable opponent. I wonder how they are now."

Yarebin said with a gloomy expression, "They’re definitely getting stronger. No need to ask. They’re in a period of national power growth. Now, the old institutions are becoming more and more useless, and I don’t even know who can compete with Huaxia anymore."

Gao Yang imdiately said, "No, although I like to hear this, isn’t it a bit exaggerated? There are the top four in the world: Arica CIA, Soviet KGB, United Kingdom MI6, and Israeli Mossad. Those are the top ones. When was Huaxia included?"

Yarebin said calmly, "Sun Tzu’s Art of War says, ’The expert in battle moves the enemy, and is not moved by him.’ You’re familiar with this phrase, right?"

"You understand this too? Impressive! A true Huaxia expert!"

Without paying attention to Gao Yang’s surprised expression, Yarebin continued calmly, "For an intelligence agency, to be known worldwide is sothing that shouldn’t happen. That’s a failure. Among the intelligence agencies of the world’s five great powers, none are weak. And with Huaxia’s rapid developnt over the years, it’s obvious to even an idiot that their intelligence agencies have been making contributions."

Gao Yang nodded repeatedly and said loudly, "That’s true, makes sense!"

Tarta, however, nonchalantly said, "But no matter what, our KGB is still the best, without a doubt."

Yarebin nodded and said softly, "During that era, it was indeed true. But how should I put it, when the Soviet people still had that upward spirit, the KGB, fueled by national power and the people’s will, was the best. But when that vibrant spirit vanished and the spirit to sacrifice for the nation was no more, then everything ended. Now the KGB has disappeared, CIA lost its forr glory, MI6 and Mossad even rapidly declined. So right now, who is the strongest? The answer is quite clear, isn’t it?"
