Now reading: Chapter 1856 - 1834: Complex Battlefronts from Mercenary’s War, a Action novel by Just Like Water.

Now, Gao Yang no longer cares about Grand Ivan’s arms, but he can still ensure that the Angel rcenary Corps receives ample supplies of arms, even more than before. Why? Because Uriyangko and Ivan are the real experts in this field, and Gao Yang has absolute standing in front of them.

Most importantly, Ukraine is not lacking in arms at all, and now Uriyangko and the others can even mobilize arms from Russia.

Previously, Gao Yang was focused on stabilizing the situation in Ukraine and had no energy to reach into Russia. He also thought that if Djo killed him, he should just take as much as possible from Ukraine before complete failure, never considering using Grand Ivan’s channels in Russia.

Now, Nate has established a foothold in Eastern Ukraine, but this absolutely cannot be done without Gao Yang’s support. So, in the affairs in Ukraine, it is really hard to say who owes whom a favor between Satan and Angel, these two rcenary groups.

Gao Yang has given financial support to the Angel rcenary Corps, but Nate grabbed a few helicopters at great risk and rescued Satan from the aftermath of the Butter Knife attack. In terms of danger, Angel’s group is indeed more dangerous.

No matter what, Gao Yang has made up his mind not to involve himself in Ukraine’s affairs anymore.

Beyond Donetsk City is Angel’s territory, and doing anything there is quite convenient. Nate is very busy at the mont and cannot et with Gao Yang, but he sent Gao Yang’s old acquaintance, Sirte, to pick them up.

Sirte brought three people, driving a jeep. When he saw Gao Yang from afar, he opened his arms for a hug. Gao Yang scrutinized him several tis before recognizing Sirte.

Sirte didn’t look German at all now. He was wearing Ukrainian camouflage, with a white band tied on his arm, carrying an AK74 on his back, not even wearing a helt, just a military green scarf wrapped around his head. The vest showing from his camouflage was still a Naval Soul Shirt, looking totally like a Russian.

"How are you, buddy, how have you been lately?"

Sirte still spoke in Russian, with an accent, clearly not an authentic Russian, but much better than Gao Yang, who could never manage the rolling Rs in Russian.

"Ha, Can Opener! Hello, my brother."

After hugging Sirte, Gao Yang said softly, "Buddy, are you posing as a Russian here?"

Sirte replied softly, "Just so you know, buddy, learning Russian these days has made my head explode, but it’s not too bad, we’re doing alright now."

After patting each other’s shoulders, Gao Yang said to Sirte, "How’s the situation recently, still stable?"

Sirte nodded, pointed to the west, and said loudly, "Fighting has already started over there. It hasn’t reached our territory yet, but a big war is definitely unavoidable. We are now preparing for battle, and the most likely thing is to unite with other forces. Our boss is busy with that lately."

Gao Yang asked softly, "Are you confident?"

Sulta scratched his head and laughed, "We definitely have confidence, but we don’t know how the casualties will be in the end. You know, in the battles here, teams like ours have very limited capabilities. Overall, we still have too many new recruits. Although training has been intensified, those rookies mainly have to learn warfare in war. With this, the initial casualties are likely not to be small."

Be it special forces or rcenaries, in a high-intensity, intense war, their roles are truly limited. No matter how capable the special forces are, they can’t blast the enemy’s artillery positions with a rifle. So, once large-scale warfare breaks out, it’s still conventional forces that rule the field. Angel’s group can at most serve as middle-level commanders or retain the Angel rcenary Corps’ structure for so special operations behind enemy lines.

Gao Yang nodded and asked softly, "Have you scattered to command various troops, or have you retained the structure for special combat use?"

Sirte laughed, "That’s our secret, but I’ll tell you anyway. We’ve assigned all those with command abilities into the combat units as commanders but have also retained a structure specifically for special operations. About twenty people, if needed, we’ll conduct special operations, but so far, there hasn’t been a situation needing us to step in personally."

Gao Yang nodded towards the few people in the car behind Sirte, saying softly, "They look unfamiliar, I don’t recognize them, not Angel’s people, right?"

Sirte laughed, "No, we gathered about two hundred people, all experienced veterans, so even from special forces. We assembled them to use as a reserve force. These few ca with to send you off, so you wouldn’t have to step in personally if there’s an issue on the road, making us look bad."

After speaking, Sirte waved his hand and smiled, "Stop chatting, I’m busy. This team was just ford not long ago, and we are still in the integration phase. I am in charge of their training and command along with two others, very busy."

Gao Yang quickly said, "No rush, I have questions for you since Nate isn’t here. Anything unusual with the 72nd chanized Brigade? Did you conduct a focused reconnaissance on the 72nd Brigade?"

Sirte nodded, "We did so reconnaissance but found nothing special. The front line is too complex now, and our reconnaissance capabilities are quite limited. Besides, the 72nd Brigade is facing another ard faction, so our attention hasn’t been mainly on the 72nd chanized Brigade for now."

Gao Yang pondered, "This is not good. You should be more vigilant about the 72nd chanized Brigade. This unit is unusual. It has been frantically expanding its strength recently. I’m worried that once the 72nd chanized Brigade breaks through the front line, you’ll have to face them directly. Better be careful."

Sirte nodded, "We have already inford the Donetsk People’s Militia about these issues. It’s the ard faction now bordering the 72nd Brigade’s line. Honestly, we can’t control whether they’ll take this info seriously or not. They are the largest ard group in Donetsk, quite strong, they shouldn’t fall apart in one strike."

Gao Yang frowned, "The 72nd chanized Brigade’s strength is beyond just a brigade now. In any case, this brigade is very strange, soone is secretly supporting them strongly, possibly with the Aricans directly involved. Can’t underestimate them."

Sirte didn’t show any impatience because they were dealing with a serious issue. He nodded repeatedly and said, "Yes, the situation with the 72nd chanized Brigade indeed seems strange. But we have made so preparations and definitely heightened our alertness. Our boss takes your intel very seriously."

After finishing, Sirte smiled and said, "You should still discuss these things with Nate. If he’s available in the evening, he’ll surely co to find you. Now let’s go, I’ll lead the way in front, you just need to follow."
