Just like a pack of hungry wolves finally spotting their prey, Satan’s group was all eager and restless.

Ukrainian n don’t have strong feelings for the girls around them, much like you wouldn’t have special thoughts about a girl you pass by every day on the street. At least, that solitary girl wouldn’t be getting star treatnt.

But for people like Satan’s group, having stayed in a place filled with burly n for too long, suddenly seeing a cute and pretty girl—not particularly stunning, but definitely pretty—it’s like a hungry wolf spotting prey. It’s surprising they didn’t pounce.

Andy He cleared his throat, brushed his hair, and was about to step forward. Albert, the scoundrel, lit up and moved ahead, and even Frey, after a mont of hesitation, had a big smile as he approached to cozy up.

Cui Bo turned around, finding it inconvenient to get into the truck bed, so he leaned against it, glaring at those planning to compete with him, and loudly warned in English, "You guys better mind your business."

Seeing Cui Bo’s warning expression, Andy He shrugged, Frey waved dismissively, while Albert turned directly to the girl still chatting beside him.

Then Cui Bo faced the girl, speaking in Russian, "I was wondering, are you a sniper?"

The girl slightly moved the gun forward, looked at the weapon, and said, "They shoved this gun into my hands, telling to stay behind during battles. I originally wanted a regular rifle, but now I really want to be a sniper. Your gun looks massive. Are you a sniper?"

Cui Bo imdiately looked proud, nodding repeatedly, "Yes, yes, I am a sniper."

The girl imdiately looked admiring, "Then your gunmanship must be amazing."

Cui Bo laughed loudly, "Of course, without good gunmanship, how can one be a sniper?"

The girl sighed softly, "My shooting isn’t good, but I also want to beco a sniper now."

Cui Bo quickly replied, "Being a sniper isn’t too hard. You just need so practice."

The girl offered her hand first, waiting for the flustered Cui Bo to shake it, smiling, "I’m Lilia, Lilia Vodianova, from Gorlovka. What’s your na?"

Cui Bo was almost floating with happiness, grinning foolishly, "You can call Rabbit, Lilia, nice to et you."

Lilia asked curiously, "You’re a foreigner, so why are you here?"

Cui Bo cleared his throat, touched his head, and said loudly, "Justice! Yes, I ca for justice. And you, looking at you, you seem out of place here, why join the militia?"

Lilia sighed sadly, "My ho was destroyed by a governnt forces’ shell. My mother died. Everyone said we must stand up to defend our holand. Blood debts must be repaid with blood. But my hotown is occupied by governnt forces, so that’s why I ca here."

Cui Bo nodded, speaking softly, "I see, well, this place isn’t too bad."

Lilia smiled, nodded at Cui Bo, and asked quietly, "Did you get injured in battle?"

"Ah, uh, yes, I fought, faced many enemies, and that’s how I got like this, but I’m getting better."

Lilia, full of admiration, said, "You must be very skilled."

"Not particularly skilled, but as a sniper, you know, snipers play a crucial role."

It was noon; the temperature wasn’t too high, but the sun was blazing. The wind rustled the tree branches, and the sunlight bead straight down on Lilia’s face at the treetops.

The sun was a bit blinding, so Lilia shielded her forehead with her hand and said, "Your gun looks different and big. I haven’t seen one like it. What kind is it?"

Cui Bo turned to glance at his gun, grinning, "This? It’s an Arican gun, a Barrett M82M3."

"An Arican gun?"

"Uh, yes, a trophy, a trophy!"

"Wow, you’re really impressive."

Cui Bo shifted his crutches a bit, feeling itchy all over, turned his head, looked at Lilia. Suddenly he said, "You don’t have goggles, huh? Well, being a sniper without polarized, tinted goggles won’t do. They’re not just for blocking sunlight but are bulletproof too. Hang on a sec."

Gao Yang and the others had moved far away, watching Cui Bo flirt. Cui Bo, using his crutches, hobbled over to Gao Yang and the others, asking anxiously, "Who has spare goggles to give? Quick, quick."

Cui Bo was nearsighted, and though he carried at least three goggles, all were prescription and couldn’t be gifted easily.

Everyone had goggles, but they couldn’t just give them to Cui Bo. Frey held out goggles, laughing, "You can have mine, but what will you give in return?"

Gao Yang laughed, "Taking up people’s precious ti. Here, take mine. They’re new, first ti using them today."

Cui Bo snatched Gao Yang’s goggles and shouted, "Brother Yang, you’re the best! The rest of you, you’re all bastards!"

Amid laughter, Cui Bo quickly hobbled back, offering the goggles to Lilia, saying loudly, "These are for you. Mine aren’t suitable, they’re prescription. But these are new, try them on."

All of Satan’s group used branded military tactical goggles. They weren’t expensive but hard to find in Ukraine. Gao Yang picked a pair with yellow lenses, making them look bright, and as Gao Yang’s face was small, they fit Lilia too.

Lilia hesitated, looking at the glasses Cui Bo held, saying, "That wouldn’t be right."

Cui Bo placed the glasses in her hand, smiling, "They’re just goggles, nothing special. You need goggles, try them on. If they don’t fit, I’ll get you another, we’ve got plenty."

Lilia, after a mont’s hesitation, finally put the glasses on, nodding, "They’re light, a bit big, but they’re fine. Thank you."

Cui Bo smiled, "No problem. A sniper needs lots of little things. Later, I can see what else you need and get you so."

The girl waved her hands, "No, no, but could you teach to shoot? Though you don’t seem too mobile right now."

Cui Bo’s eyes suddenly brightened, brighter than ever. He shouted, "Yes! I’m totally mobile. I just got back from the shooting range! I saw you guys there, and I can take you to the range to teach shooting, no problem at all!"
