The situation on Nate’s side was particularly chaotic; the sound of gunfire and cannons almost completely drowned out the sound of speech, and you couldn’t hear anything without shouting at the top of your lungs.

Gao Yang took a breath and then shouted loudly, “Listen! The Iron Madonna is coming, and their target is you! “I know. I won’t cut communications again, but don’t bother unless there’s sothing urgent, call over.” Nate hung up with a click. Gao Yang was so frustrated he wanted to throw his phone. Glolov looked at him with concern and said, “What’s Angel’s status?”

Gao Yang said irritably, “Angel’s Intelligence Officer is injured; as good as dead. Nate refused our help. He’s in a bad fight and told us to retreat quickly. We inford him about the Iron Madonna, but who knows if he’ll take it seriously. F**k! He tells us to retreat; how do we even retreat? Plus, the Governnt Forces are still sending more troops. Khartsyzk seems to have beco the main battlefield.”

Gao Yang waved his hand, loudly saying, “Forget it, let’s get to a safe place first, then find a safe route. After evacuating the wounded, we’ll decide whether to go to Donetsk or leave Ukraine altogether. F**k, here it’s a real war. Though both are battlefields, the level of danger and intensity are worlds apart. In Syria, as long as you hide, you don’t have to worry about heavy firepower striking. In Ukraine, no place is safe; both Governnt Forces and militias are so adept at using indirect heavy firepower, there’s no such thing as a safe zone within the battlefield range.

Having made a decision, Gao Yang waved his hand, saying, “Keep moving, first et up with the wounded.”

The wounded had settled in the city center area and found a hotel. However, they couldn’t stay very long; it was just a sturdy-looking building they found to take shelter.

Answering the call, Gao Yang hurriedly asked, “You okay?”

Nate sounded extrely weary, “No, I’m fine, but it’s bad over here. All our commanders in Khartsyzk are dead. Just now, the last battalion commander responsible for overall command. From now on, I can only have company or even platoon leaders assu overall command duties, and I’m not even sure how many company commanders are still alive….”
