The group quietly relocated, no longer moving towards the city, but retreating to the rear.
Ivan is bringing the plane soon, so finding a suitable landing field shouldn’t be delayed for too long.
After retreating about a kiloter, Gao Yang surveyed the environnt and then loudly said to Eileen, "Send the coordinates to Ivan, we’ll wait here for the helicopter."
This ti, fate finally favored Gao Yang, or perhaps favored Nate and his Angel rcenary Corps. After approximately ten minutes of waiting, Li Jinfang excitedly said, "Helicopter spotted, it’s heading our way."
Seeing the helicopter getting closer, Gao Yang could see there were four helicopters coming, so he imdiately shouted, "Throw a smoke grenade to signal the landing point, prepare to board."
Flara deployed a red smoke grenade, which clearly marked the target. Soon, two helicopters landed on the ground.
"Split into two helicopters, hurry up!"
Ivan erged from the tail hatch of one helicopter, wearing large earmuffs and shouting into a walkie-talkie.
Gao Yang waved his hand, and the people quickly ran towards the two helicopters in two lines.
A Mi-8 can accommodate twenty-eight people plus equipnt; the helicopters that landed already had passengers. Gao Yang quickly boarded the plane, greeted Ivan, and sat in a simple seat inside.
Soon, everyone was on the helicopter, and Ivan waved his hand, prompting soone to loudly shout into the walkie-talkie, "Take off! Take off!"
Ivan plopped down next to Gao Yang and loudly asked, "This plane is really uncomfortable to sit on—how’s the situation with Angel?"
The comfort of the Mi-8 helicopter is indeed terrible, with deafening noise. Gao Yang shook his head and loudly said, "I don’t know, the situation doesn’t look good, maybe their entire team is wiped out. We’ll only know when we arrive."
Ivan laughed and loudly said, "Think it’s reasonable to demand 50 million for taking those people to rescue Angel?"
Gao Yang was speechless on the spot, and Ivan laughed again, patting Gao Yang’s shoulder and saying, "Just kidding."
After making an untily joke, Ivan pointed to a man sitting across from him and shouted, "Poseyankov, my old friend, these people were brought by him, and now they’re all under your command."
Gao Yang saluted Poseyankov, who returned the salute to Gao Yang and shouted, "Can you briefly introduce the situation?"
Gao Yang gestured and Sirte started explaining to Poseyankov in Russian, while Gao Yang loudly said to Prince, "We can’t be mistakenly fired upon by allied forces, you’ll need to figure out a way to contact them, can you?
Prince, slightly removed from Gao Yang, nodded, contemplated for a mont, then loudly said, "I’ll notify Wizard to make contact. We have several communications points in Donetsk connected by telephone lines, unaffected by interference."
Flying by plane is of course much faster than running on two legs; the roads that Satan struggles to pass on foot can be covered in just ten minutes by helicopter.
Soon, Ivan loudly said, "We’re about to land, have we made contact?"
Prince put down the satellite phone, nodded, "Contact has been made, we can safely land near our command center."
As he finished speaking, within two minutes, Prince pointed out from the cabin window, "That’s where they marked a safe landing point with a smoke grenade."
White smoke billowed from the ground, Ivan notified the helicopter pilot, and the helicopter imdiately headed down to the smoking area.
The landing area was very spacious, accommodating all four helicopters at once was no issue.
Once the helicopters landed, and everyone got off, the four helicopters imdiately began taking off one after another. Gao Yang pointed to a helicopter that had just left the ground, loudly asking, "Can’t they stay?"
Ivan shook his head and laughed, "No, they’re here to deliver, not to receive."
The landing personnel did not gather together, but instead spread out quickly to avoid being hit by stray artillery shells, as they had now reached the combat zone.
Two people quickly ran over, Prince huddled next to Gao Yang and whispered, "Our people, not Angel’s mbers, but they can be trusted."
Soon, the two people ran over, one holding a rifle, his face covered in soot, urgently saying to Prince, "When we arrived, the enemy was about to break through the last line of defense. The Donetsk Allied Forces have already ordered a retreat; we have to engage imdiately. We just repelled a wave of enemy attacks, and tried to rescue the commander trapped in the building, but our attack failed, with heavy casualties!"
Prince pointed at Gao Yang with urgency, saying, "What’s the commander’s situation?"
"Unknown, we’ve lost contact, but the enemy hasn’t defeated them. The fight continues, gunfire inside the building hasn’t stopped, but the enemy has entered the building, we don’t know the situation inside."
Prince and Sirte exchanged glances, both looking excited, then Prince, unable to celebrate, imdiately pointed to Gao Yang, loudly saying, "He’s the commander, follow his instructions."
Gao Yang wasted no ti, imdiately said, "How many troops do you have? Can you withstand the next enemy attack? How did you attack, how many soldiers did you use, and the scale of the casualties? Let’s talk as we move, take us to that building."
"We brought over 460 people. After repelling the enemy, I imdiately organized roughly 100 people to launch an attack, but lost half and ordered a halt to the attack. Follow , keep close to the wall, watch out for enemy artillery and snipers; the situation is complex. Our frontline is intertwined with the enemy’s, but the command stays in the factory building, still protected and behind our lines. I can’t dispatch more troops for rescue; if the frontline falls, it’s all over."
Walking not far, Prince pointed to a building and said, "It’s in that building; a total of four floors, mixed production workshop and office area, very complex internal structure and extrely sturdy. It used to be a factory, now idle, but many machines remain inside, complex terrain, only one internal passage."
Gao Yang imdiately asked, "What kind of factory was it, why is the workshop inside the building and not in a factory shed?"
Prince loudly replied, "Precision instrunts, once highly classified, the building’s shape resembles living quarters rather than a factory shed. It was an extrely important Soviet-era factory, and so it was built this way—the construction is exceedingly strong. Short of a direct nuclear strike, there’s no structural damage. Shells are useless, even using fake dicine, even enemy’s engineering teams couldn’t destroy the building in a short ti, which is why it was chosen as a command post."
