Chapter 1972: Chapter 1949: Life Never Ceases, Battle Never Ends
Gao Yang quickly explained the situation they were facing, especially the various challenges. After he finished, there was a rapid discussion in the bar.
The result of the discussion was quite similar to Gao Yang’s idea. The common conclusion was that to take down the Iron Madonna, they must first deal with the artillery positions. As for what to do after solving the artillery positions, that would depend on the situation on the ground and require quick adaptation.
Once the plan was decided, Alexander stood up and slowly said, “Then, let’s get started. We need to allocate tasks. Soone has to deal with the enemy’s artillery positions, and this part of the operation requires sufficient manpower. gastar, how about you take your people and handle that?”
gastar scratched his face, hesitantly saying, “But I wanted to have a showdown with the Iron Madonna. However, fine, I’ll take care of the artillery positions.”
Alexander drew a circle on a map and whispered, “According to Satan’s reconnaissance, the enemy’s artillery positions are most likely in this area. gastar was quite surprised and said, “There are helicopters too? Fine, leave this job to us. Simple.”
Alexander glanced at Gao Yang, nodded with a smile, and then said softly, “Very good, your preparations are quite comprehensive. If Black Panther takes care of the enemy’s artillery position, the rest will be our responsibility. We need to deal with the forces around the Iron Madonna. There are many of them, and there are a lot of snipers. This is the crucial part.”
Gao Yang shouted, “We’ll launch an attack together, and in the end, we’ll be responsible for raiding the building to rescue enemies inside.”
Alexander smiled and spoke softly, “We have twenty-seven people, plus Three Lions and Hurricane, making it thirty. Hmm, Satan, how many people do you have?”
Gao Yang shrugged and shouted, “About a dozen or so.”
Alexander gestured with his hand, smiling, “Alright, we have a total of over forty people combined, and dealing with the Iron Madonna’s outer forces of over a hundred will be very challenging.”
After saying it would be challenging, Alexander let out a long sigh and then said solemnly, “Our goal is revenge, not winning a war. The enemy still holds the advantage, and we can take our ti until we’ve wiped out all of Iron Madonna’s people. This is a long-term goal, so there’s no rush.”
After finishing his speech, Alexander looked relaxed and said, “Well, let’s get started.”
Alexander picked up his wine glass from the table with one hand and his axe with the other. He turned around and walked into the crowd of Aurora, standing in front of the bar, and then he shouted with a sense of nostalgia, “Brothers, it’s been ten years, and now that Aurora has disbanded for ten years, can you still fight?”
“I train every day; I don’t know about you all, but I’m definitely fine.”
“Who can truly give up everything from the past to be a normal person? I can’t. I dream of returning to the battlefield, so I’m in excellent condition.”
As voices spoke up around him, Alexander nodded, and then he shouted fiercely, “Aurora, united in life and death! We’re here for revenge; Koval’s wife and daughter were cruelly murdered by Iron Madonna, so everyone in Iron Madonna must die!”
Suddenly, Alexander raised his axe, shouting, “I swear on my war axe, Iron Madonna will be annihilated, until the end of my life, life doesn’t stop, and the fight goes on!”
“Swear on my war axe! Life doesn’t stop, and the fight goes on!”
Amidst the collective shout, Alexander slamd his axe onto the bar, the blade embedding deeply, with the handle angled upward. Alexander then placed a sowhat comical horned helt on the handle, followed by a wooden cup he brought, placed upside down next to the axe.
Aurora’s mbers all slamd their war axes onto the wooden bar, placed their helts and wooden cups down. Gao Yang quickly took off his horned helt and returned it to a burly man, who chopped his long-handled double-edged war axe onto the bar, leaving the axe there, and neatly placed the horned helt on the handle.
Soon, the bar was neatly lined with axes and helts.
But Gao Yang was planning to bring his axe to the battlefield; when everyone else at Aurora slamd their war axes onto the bar, he hung his Lucky Axe back onto his chest.
It seed that Aurora’s mbers wouldn’t consider disbanding again unless they completely destroyed the Iron Madonna. They’ll return here to pick up their war axes, helts, and wooden cups when they achieve their revenge goals, symbolizing when they can disband and demobilize once more.
Koval also had an axe, helt, and wooden cup, but unlike the others. His helt wasn’t a horned one but a Ukrainian historical face-covering iron helt with a long white feather on top. The axe, however, was similar, a common two-handed war axe in European history.
Being the last to slam his war axe onto the bar, Koval, his eyes red, turned slowly to look at the people around him, and shouted fiercely, “Thank you, my brothers.”
At that point, Alexander’s relaxed deanor was gone, and he shouted, “Change outfits, prepare to move out!”
As if they were Viking warriors monts ago, the group quickly changed their clothes, putting on the outfits and taking out the weapons they had brought.
War axes definitely couldn’t be brought to the battlefield. Nowadays, battles are fought with guns, and even when cold weapons are needed, at most, it’s things like bayonet knives. Bringing a large two-handed axe and horned helt would just be codic and rather silly.
Alexander opened his large bag, assembled a gun barrel with a stock, revealing it to be an MSG90 produced by HK, specifically a semi-automatic rifle for marksn.
At once in the past, rifles specifically engineered for precision shooting were relatively few, making the MSG90 the best choice during Aurora’s active years.
Though Alexander wielded an MSG90, after assembling it, he pondered for a mont, then revealed another gun. He had brought two firearms, and witnessing the second gun Alexander revealed, Gao Yang was instantly shocked.
