Mercenary’s War Chapter 2042 - 2019: Troublesome Matters

Gao Yang can finally think about where to spend his ti as a couple.

After spending a dangerous and long period in Ukraine, Gao Yang really needs to relax thoroughly. Now that the crisis brought by the CIA seems to be coming to an end, and Yelena is on sumr vacation, it’s ti for him to consider where to go for so fun.

Of course, before going on a sweet couple’s getaway, Gao Yang needs to take another trip to Texas to make up for the interrupted schedule caused by the CIA.

"How about Hawaii? We haven’t been there yet, and I think it’s pretty nice. Once we have our fun, it won’t affect attending Tommy and Vita’s wedding."

While at Glolov’s house, Gao Yang was seeking Yelena’s opinion, and upon hearing Gao Yang’s intended destination, Glolov imdiately said with enthusiasm, "Hawaii is great. Natalia and I plan to go there again. We love the climate, the sunshine, the beaches, and the sea there."

Frey laughed out loud and said, "Is it that every Russian can’t resist the allure of the sun and beach? Is it because the cold lasts too long there?"

Glolov shrugged and said, "Probably, anyway, I think a vacation needs to be at a sunny, warm seaside to be considered a real vacation."

Actually, Gao Yang didn’t really want to travel with Glolov...

So, before Yelena could answer, he imdiately said, "If you don’t like Hawaii, then how about going to Europe?"

Yelena hesitated for a mont and said softly, "Actually, I want to go to Africa, to see the place where you lived. Haven’t you always wanted to see your relatives from the Akuri tribe? Now we have the ti, so why don’t we go have a look."

Gao Yang said with difficulty, "Well, but the conditions there aren’t that great, and I think taking you there isn’t a good idea."

Glolov agreed with Gao Yang and said with a smile, "That’s right, life in Africa isn’t as comfortable as you might think."

Yelena smiled and said, "I don’t need a comfortable life, I prefer the wild and primitive aspects of Africa."

Gao Yang pondered for a mont, nodded, and then looked at Frey, loudly asking, "Do you have any plans?"

Frey shrugged and smiled, "No, I don’t know where to go."

Gao Yang snapped his fingers and said in a deep voice, "You should practice baseball. You couldn’t make this year’s draft season, but maybe you can sign with the New York Yankees or the Texas Rangers as a free agent. I don’t know much, but they’ll certainly have a way. You know, the New York Yankees have always dread of you joining."

Frey covered his forehead, speaking to Gao Yang helplessly, "Oh, not again, Boss."

Gao Yang chuckled and said, "Think about it, what else can we do next? If you don’t go play, you’ll be too old."

Frey looked distraught, pointing at his own nose and said, "Boss, I’m only twenty! I’m twenty years old this year! Although I might look a bit mature, you can’t say I’m too old! Besides, many baseball players enter the Major League at twenty-three or four, and even if I have to play a few more years in the minor league before joining the major league, I still won’t be too old."

Gao Yang was taken aback; having been with Frey for more than three years, he often forgot Frey’s age. Looking back now, although Frey is a seasoned veteran, he is still only twenty.

Yelena was sowhat naive, not quite understanding what it ant for a woman to be unable to have children, but Vita was covering her mouth in shock, looking at Frey.

Frey spread his hands, carelessly saying, "It’s nothing, really. I don’t care much about it."

Gao Yang is Frey’s elder brother, but at tis, he feels more like Frey’s father. Rubbing his head vigorously, he said urgently, "Why didn’t you say earlier? Have you been checked? Been to the hospital? A big one! F**k! Can’t you be a bit more mature, kid?"

Gao Yang had one more thing to worry about now, though it wasn’t his personal problem, it was indeed troubling him, and just then, his phone rang.

The call was from Murphy. Looking at the caller ID, Gao Yang, suddenly feeling more annoyed, had a hunch that this call from Murphy wasn’t going to bring any good news.
