It must be said that Number Thirteen tid it quite well because just as he leaped out, the room’s door opened, and a group of people rushed in swiftly, then charged to the broken window and began firing continuously.

After emptying a magazine, the person standing in front of the window shouted in rage, "Chase!"

It seed like Number Thirteen made a successful escape. Rafael was filled with joy, but he knew his own outco would be dire.

Number Thirteen ignored him and Yake entirely, with no intention of freeing them. Rafael felt so resentnt, but he was also grateful that Number Thirteen didn’t. If Number Thirteen had wasted even a bit of ti, he would have been gunned down by many people.

Gunfighting was never Number Thirteen’s expertise; never. If Gao Yang were here, he would have blocked the door with a Beretta M12S submachine gun. But that wasn’t Number Thirteen’s strength; he excelled at remarkably intricate skills beyond ordinary comprehension. But exchanging gunfire with a group? Forget it. A good assassin does not rely on gunfights to kill targets.

Rafael was relieved because Number Thirteen had escaped. They would be saved, Gao Yang would be saved. Of course, if the guards, in a fit of rage, shot him and Yake on the spot, there was no blaming Number Thirteen. If Number Thirteen had hesitated for two seconds, he wouldn’t have had the chance to escape. At tis like this, what was needed was Number Thirteen’s unrelenting, detached determination.

A group began to frenziedly leap out the window. Since it was the ground floor, there was no worry of falling to death. So turned and left the doorway to pursue, leaving just two behind.

One raised his gun at Yake, calmly saying, "Kill these two?"

"Don’t kill them, leave it for the boss to decide. You guard, I’ll notify the boss."

After giving these rushed instructions, that person imdiately ran out through the door. Soone had to inform Mario of what happened. Unfortunately, he was one of the leaders, so he was the one who had to face Mario’s wrath.

Upon hearing the gunshots, Mario was already on his way.

eting up with his subordinates in the hall, Mario, with an angry expression, shouted, "What happened?"

"Sorry, boss, soone’s escaped."

Mario, with a look of disbelief, exclaid, "Escaped? You were watching three people, stripped them of their clothes, and yet one escaped? Idiots! How stupid do you have to be to let soone escape in such a situation?"

Though it was very humiliating, especially humiliating, extrely humiliating, so things still had to be said.

"Sorry, boss, do we need to take care of the remaining two?"

"I’ll take care of you idiots! The remaining two are useful, watch them carefully, morons! Go chase! Bring back the escapee, dead or alive, find him now, don’t just stand there!"

"Soone is already gone, boss, he can’t escape. There are no buildings nearby, he’s without clothes and shoes. Trust , he will soon be a corpse delivered to you."

Watching the underling hastily escaping after leaving a harsh remark, Mario, holding his head with both hands, said in disbelief, "These idiots, how did soone still manage to escape?"

With over a dozen people in pursuit, Number Thirteen wasn’t very confident about escaping. Direct confrontation was never his forte. Fighting while fleeing wasn’t either; that was Gun God Ram’s strength. Thus, if Number Thirteen blindly ran, there was a high chance he’d be gunned down from behind.

Therefore, of course, Number Thirteen wouldn’t choose to charge blindly forward, nor fight while running. Outwitting and disorienting opponents amidst potentially impossible situations to find a glimr of hope was his choice.

Leaping out the window, Number Thirteen imdiately sprinted along the base of the wall. When soone shot at him from the window, he was already close to the corner and dodged the bullet with a swift turn. Before the shooter vented his anger with a spray of bullets, he was already safe.

Having avoided the bullets, Number Thirteen sprinted straight ahead, past a fountain, through a garden, and before the pursuers who jumped out the window could fire at him, he slung his submachine gun over his neck and leaped to grab the top of a not-so-tall wall to vault over.

After vaulting the wall, Number Thirteen didn’t run straight down the hill. He counted silently, sprinting along the wall at his fastest speed, though not moving away from Mario’s property.

After silently counting to fifteen, Number Thirteen, still in motion, leaped again, grabbed the wall top with his hands, and sprang back into the courtyard he had just escaped.

From the flank of those pursuers, seeing them either climbing walls or rushing out the front gate, Number Thirteen didn’t hide or disguise his tracks, yet none of the people who could see him just by turning their heads did so.

"Where is he?"

"You, you, to the left. You two, to the right. The rest of you spread out and search with , he can’t be far, find him quickly!"

The group rushing outside was chaotic, while Number Thirteen, naked and silent, ran quietly behind them into a side room of Mario’s mansion.

Working for soone like Mario, one shouldn’t mind what’s happening outside. The gunfire outside was sothing to pretend not to hear. However, sotis bad luck cos knocking at the door by itself.

With one hand seizing the chef’s neck, Number Thirteen gave a sudden twist, then grabbed the chef’s phone, tossing the wide-eyed chef onto the chair. Quickly dialing a number, after a brief wait for the call to connect, he whispered, "Mario’s trap, rescue Ram imdiately."

Without further explanation, Number Thirteen hung up the phone.

Number Thirteen’s primary goal was achieved: to transmit the ssage in ti. There was no need to ntion the address because Mario would definitely relocate. He didn’t specify Gao Yang’s situation as he didn’t know it. Without a chance to explain further, there was no need to say more.

Next was Number Thirteen’s secondary objective. He never planned to escape; he aid to find a way to rescue Gao Yang after sending the ssage, though this goal was nearly impossible to achieve. That’s why delivering the ssage was his top priority.
