Gao Yang held his breath, aid at the sniper on the helicopter, and fired a shot.

Honestly, shooting a target flying in the sky is pretty difficult, especially when the gun in your hand is long and heavy, with massive recoil. Wanting every shot to be precise is extrely challenging, but the sa gun in Gao Yang and Justin’s hands has a completely different effect, mainly because their skill levels are vastly different.

With a gun in hand, Gao Yang always habitually creates miracles, to the point where what counts as a miracle for others isn’t even considered a miracle for him.

With one shot killing a sniper, Gao Yang suddenly pulled back the slide, shoved another bullet into the ejection port while shouting, "Run, keep running! Watch your direction!"

Justin was running as if his soul was leaving him, but still managed to shout back without turning his head, "F**k youuuu!"

Listening to Justin’s elongated shout, Gao Yang raised his gun again. He no longer had to dodge bullets because everyone in the three helicopters was shooting at Justin.

Gao Yang carefully aid for a mont and fired another shot. Then he glanced at Tarta, seeing Tarta already standing up and desperately waving at him to indicate he’s okay.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Gao Yang ran to where he just kicked Justin, quickly grabbed a dozen bullets from the ammo box and stuffed them into a convenient pocket. After packing the box away, he chased after the still frantically running Justin.

Justin was already nearing the small forest, keeping in mind Gao Yang’s words. As he was about to get close, he suddenly turned, and bullets sent grass chips and stones flying on the path leading to the forest.

Quickly catching up to Justin, maintaining a twenty to thirty-ter distance, Gao Yang stopped again and swiftly fired a shot when a gunman aid at him.

Run and shoot, shoot and run, anyway neither Gao Yang nor Justin could possibly outrun the helicopters above, but those helicopters also couldn’t hit the two darting around on the ground.

Justin was running so hard he nearly couldn’t catch his breath, yet Gao Yang was getting more relaxed, as the three to four kiloters they ran wasn’t even a warm-up for him.

Gao Yang leisurely shouted, "Don’t you intelligence traffickers have anyone who can shoot from the sky? You should at least recruit a few retired soldiers, this is too poor."

Justin, mouth wide open, gasping loud enough to be heard from afar, gestured a middle finger at Gao Yang, but was too exhausted to talk.

Only two people on the helicopter could shoot from the side cabin door; the rest were dead. Those remaining were even more afraid of Gao Yang aiming at them, so during their cautious shots, the helicopters quickly made sharp turns each ti Gao Yang stopped to aim, probably making the people onboard dizzy.

Of course, danger still existed and the threat was considerable regardless.

Justin’s pace slowed down more and more. Gao Yang shouted, "Keep running, keep going, don’t stop; stopping will get you killed!"

Justin suddenly stopped, hands on knees, saying intermittently in a changed voice, "I was never born to run like this; you try, you try."

Gao Yang was truly anxious, just because rigging and running didn’t put him in danger didn’t an stopping wouldn’t. He quickly got closer to Justin, hesitated to kick him for fear of knocking him down, so instead pinched and twisted hard under his arm, shouting, "Run!"

Justin yelled "Whoa!" leaping back up, and soon started running again. Gao Yang yelled, "Turn, turn, stop running in one direction."

Justin, using both hands and feet, tongue out, head down, ran not fast but not slow. Gao Yang looked up at the sky, snapped a branch off a small tree, checked the aircraft for montary non-threat, sprinted two steps catching up to Justin, hitting him hard on the ass with the branch, yelling, "Run, run faster!"

"Ah!"

Tears welled up in Justin’s eyes, glancing back at Gao Yang, he ran limping towards a spot far from Gao Yang, taking the turn.

Gao Yang clamped the branch in his mouth, paused aiming his gun at the helicopters. Scared, those helicopters made another sharp turn, which made Gao Yang laugh and then he chased after Justin.

"Buddy, good news, I can now confirm; the helicopters are civilian, and so are the pilots. Their maneuvers are all mistakes; they don’t know how to fly to maximize firepower."

Justin only panted; Gao Yang, holding the branch, slapped it hard on Justin’s arm.

"Oh, F**k!"

"No need to speed up but don’t forget to turn. Listen buddy, I’ve got a good plan; run forward a bit and there’s a road, right? We’ll intercept a car then you can ride away without needing to run anymore."

Justin rubbed his arm with the fresh welt, tears on his face, struggling to complete a sentence.

"F**k, F**k, F**k..."

Gao Yang glanced at the helicopters while tending to Justin; he was truly busy.

After a glance up, Gao Yang calmly said, "Buddy, I know you’re tired, but you can’t give up. We’re almost to the road, at most three hundred ters away. I saw from the hilltop; it’s only three hundred ters max. Two more minutes, turn, you idiot."

Justin was running so hard his brain was probably low on oxygen, he just glared back at Gao Yang while running straight forward. Gao Yang imdiately swung the branch, prompting Justin to instinctively turn and pick up speed.

After approximately ten more minutes of running, Gao Yang, beside Justin, shouted, "Brother, you’re doing fantastic, keep it up; less than two hundred ters now and we’ll be on the road soon."

Justin suddenly stopped, hands on knees, head lowered, struggled to say, "I’m not blind or dumb, I really can’t run anymore."

Gao Yang checked the helicopters in the sky, lifted the branch high and swung it down on Justin’s back with full force, leaving a bloody mark on the white shirt.

Gao Yang threw the broken branch away, yelling, "Keep running, less than two thousand ters—sorry, my mistake, less than two hundred ters; you can do it! Brother, you can do it!"

Justin finally cried aloud, breath ragged, took weak staggered steps again, head raised, stumbled forward while looking at the helicopters, desperately saying, "Why can’t your gunmanship be better, just shoot dead."
