The Wizard made a hasty retreat, and Gao Yang waved to the people the Wizard had brought, shouting, "Hey, guys, hello."
Another group of Ukrainians arrived, almost all of them core artillery soldiers, except for one person, the student company commander Vorvitsky.
Gao Yang patted Vorvitsky on the shoulder and laughed, "How do you feel?"
Vorvitsky, looking slightly uneasy, replied, "It’s okay, sir."
"Once you’re here, don’t call sir, call boss."
With a smile, Gao Yang patted Vorvitsky’s arm, then looked at the others and shouted, "This is not the place to talk, let’s head back first. You all know what you’re here for, so I won’t say much more. We’ll talk more back at the camp."
After a quick greeting, he led the newly arrived group back to Halin.
By the ti they returned to their residence, it was almost dark.
Gao Yang jumped out of the car, waited for everyone to disembark, and then led them into the courtyard, loudly calling out, "Rebrov! Rebrov!"
Rebrov imdiately ca running out of a room, shouting, "Boss, you called for ."
Gao Yang gestured for Rebrov to co closer, then, turning back to the assembled artilleryn, pointed at Rebrov and said, "There are no ranks or positions here, but you all need to rember, from now on, he is your boss and you must obey his every order."
The artilleryn were specifically recruited to be under Rebrov’s command. It would be a waste for a technical arm to be led by soone who doesn’t understand artillery.
These people, led by Vorvitsky, had just co from the battlefield. Not only were they professionally trained artilleryn, but they also had rich combat experience. Even if they were thrown directly into battle, it wouldn’t be a problem. Rebrov still seed a bit green, lacking experience in leading troops, but he was an officer from an artillery academy, so it was not an issue for him to lead these n.
So as soon as the Ukrainians arrived, Gao Yang imdiately had a usable artillery team, ready to be deployed once they got their hands on the artillery guns.
"You should explain the rules to them, what they can and cannot do."
Rebrov, a bit excited, imdiately said, "Yes, boss."
Gao Yang had promised Rebrov an artillery regint, and although that promise couldn’t be fulfilled just yet, at least Rebrov was no longer a commander without troops, so it was natural for him to be excited.
Gao Yang nodded and smiled, "I leave the n to you. Have the rooms been arranged for you?"
"Yes, boss. We are all set. We have four rooms, these few here."
Gao Yang nodded, "Alright then, go arrange your n."
Rebrov stood before the artilleryn under his charge and shouted, "I’ll first take you to your dorms. If anyone wishes to room together, let know. Dinner will start in half an hour, so move quickly and follow now."
Rebrov led the group away, but Vorvitsky was different. Gao Yang looked around and asked, "Are there any spare rooms?"
With more people, rooms beca scarce. Peter shouted, "Boss, Yuri and I share a room. We’ve got four beds, he can room with us."
Gao Yang nodded and said to Peter, "Great, I’ll leave him to you. You’re responsible for taking care of him."
Peter was an experienced leader, far more seasoned than Gao Yang. If not for losing a leg, he wouldn’t have ended up with Satan’s group, so entrusting Vorvitsky to Peter ant no worries.
There wasn’t much else going on and Gao Yang had a lot to deal with. After checking his watch, he said to Grewatov, who had returned earlier, "Where’s Jim?"
"Discussing matters with Salim. They’ve gone to see Abdullah together."
Not seeing Liang Dong either, Gao Yang shouted, "Where’s Liang Dong? Is he preparing dinner for us?"
"No, Salim didn’t give us any supplies. There’s a kitchen here. Liang Dong went with Jim and Salim, but if we want to cook for ourselves, we’ll have to wait until tomorrow."
Gao Yang nodded, "Alright, everyone is free to do as they like. Which room is Yarebin in? Take there."
Following Grewatov, Gao Yang arrived at a room’s entrance, knocked, and then entered to find Yarebin already seated.
Pointing to a chair beside him, Yarebin gestured for Gao Yang to sit, then slowly said, "Grewatov already told what you’ve done."
Gao Yang whispered, "So do you think I handled it appropriately?"
Yarebin nodded slowly and said, "You acted correctly. You must show determination, unwavering determination because the KGB must be strong. If you’re not firm enough, that’s what’s wrong."
After speaking, with pride and nostalgia, Yarebin continued, "If it were truly the KGB handling your situation, there’d be no need to apologize. But unfortunately, you’re not soone with that backing, so your approach was impeccable and right."
Gao Yang whispered, "Now that you’re here, it’ll be much easier. Going forward for any situations..."
Yarebin waved his hand at Gao Yang, saying, "No, I’m just here on vacation. Handle things yourself. From now on, Tarta and the others will also follow you. Don’t rge Black Demon with Satan, but you can fully control Black Demon."
Gao Yang couldn’t help but glance at Grewatov, who nodded slightly in return.
Although Black Demon had been assisting Gao Yang, he couldn’t command them. Black Demon belonged to Yarebin, and for Gao Yang to have them do sothing, he’d need Yarebin’s approval. But now, Yarebin seed to be handing over Black Demon entirely to him.
"All of them, to ?"
Yarebin looked at the surprised Gao Yang, gently nodding, and said, "Yes, they’re yours."
"Why, isn’t this a bit sudden?"
Yarebin waved his hand, "You’ve done well, and now I think you’re qualified to command Black Demon. You’re my successor, and it’s ti for Sony to be handed over to you. Don’t worry about anything; I’ve already inford Hamr and Pavlovich. You’re already the deputy leader of Black Demon, so they’ll fully obey you."
Gao Yang rubbed his chin, smiled, and said, "Deputy leader?"
Yarebin replied calmly, "Yes, it’s my appointnt for you. When I pass away, you’ll be the leader of Black Demon."
