The at is about to be ready; just ten more minutes.
Gao Yang stared at the pot of stewing at, pondered for a mont, then turned to Salim and asked, "Where to?"
Salim replied softly, "No details were given, just a request for you and the Dagger Assault Team to enter Sanaa as soon as possible; soone will be there to support us."
Gao Yang turned towards the direction of Sanaa City and quietly asked, "The fighting hasn’t started in Sanaa yet, right?"
Salim hesitated for a mont and replied in a low voice, "Not yet, but there have been several sporadic skirmishes today, although they were quickly subdued."
Gao Yang shook his head and smiled, "Sanaa hasn’t erupted in battle yet, what is it they want us, the assault specialists, to do?"
After asking, Gao Yang lowered his voice again and said to Salim, "My brother, we are now comrades, comrades! Do you admit it?"
After Gao Yang deliberately repeated the word ’comrades’ twice, Salim hesitated briefly, before finally whispering, "This is Lavagani’s idea; I think we’re not ready for battle yet, maybe it’s best not to go inside Sanaa City for now."
After uttering this, Salim seed relieved, but Gao Yang was not yet satisfied.
"Why? Why not enter Sanaa now?"
Salim was taken aback, then furrowed his brow and said, "This..."
Gao Yang pointed at Salim, then at his own chest, quietly saying, "My brother, I believe we should stand together, not for anyone’s personal benefit, but for the Houthis Ard Forces. So I think it’s better to be clear rather than vague, I’m determined to do my best for you and the Houthis Ard Forces because our interests align, and I hope you can be honest with ."
After so hesitation, Salim finally approached Gao Yang, lowered his voice, and said, "Those people are Saudi Arabian intelligence agents, at least a hundred of them, they’ve been in Sanaa to aid Hadi. There aren’t many actual combat personnel among them, but there definitely isn’t a small number, and none of us know their exact count."
After saying this in a very low voice, Salim nervously twisted his neck, then continued in a whisper, "Lavagani wants you to take action against the Saudis; you understand that, right?"
Gao Yang certainly understood.
Gao Yang’s current identity is as a Russian Envoy, his ard forces sent by Russia. For Russians to eliminate a large group of Saudi intelligence agents in Sanaa, that would an a confrontation between Russia and Saudi Arabia.
Lavagani is shrewd; by sending Russians who intended to remain backstage to provoke Saudi Arabia, Iran gets to spectate from the back while reducing its pressure.
Still, given Iran’s influence over Yen, even if soone else acted, Saudi Arabia would still suspect Iran first. But dragging Russia into the fray benefits Iran greatly, so Lavagani’s plan is indeed clever.
Yet, if one says Lavagani is foolish, he does seem foolish because his approach is too obvious, and anyone with so wit like Gao Yang would see through it and get enraged.
However, Gao Yang isn’t foolish; he is even willing to fall into the trap.
Why would Gao Yang willingly step into the trap? Considering his reasons for coming to Yen, it’s clear he doesn’t mind dragging Russia into the mire. He aims to prompt Saudi Arabia to charge into Yen quickly.
Saudi Arabia is determined to control Yen, as is Iran, so now that Yen is chaotic, both nations will continue their struggle within Yen. Iran wants Russia to be more entangled, which can’t be solely Lavagani’s decision; he must have received orders from higher authorities.
The only issue is that Gao Yang’s status as a Russian Envoy is a façade. Thus, Lavagani has essentially handed Gao Yang a substantial gift.
Salim confessed the truth because completely offending Saudi Arabia is against the Houthis Ard Forces’ interests. But with Iran in the picture, they can’t act solely on their own accord, hence Salim decided to fully and thoroughly align with Gao Yang, while Abdullah and Lavagani continue negotiating with Iran, essentially betting on both sides without offending either.
Gao Yang looked at Salim, smiled, and patted his shoulder, saying softly, "Thank you, my brother."
Salim smiled awkwardly.
Gao Yang took a deep breath and softly said, "Lavagani’s thoughts are irrelevant. The important thing is, do you think we should take down those Saudi intelligence agents?"
After a mont’s hesitation, Salim whispered, "Even if we don’t take action, Lavagani undoubtedly will; Iran won’t possibly let those agents, so well inford about Sanaa’s situation, go. If you take action, then..."
Gao Yang responded calmly, "If we take action ourselves, it signifies absolute support for the Houthis Ard Forces, so our action is certainly what you desire."
Salim slightly nodded and responded quietly, "There’s so truth to that."
Gao Yang asked in confusion, "I only have one question: since they’re Saudi intelligence agents, how could they gather together, and how did you know their exact location?"
Salim softly explained, "The Saudis have been quite overt, operating an office in Sanaa known by everyone to be full of Saudi intelligence agents. With the tensions in Sanaa, these agents have been increasingly busy, so it’s certain that the place is teeming with them, though it is also heavily guarded."
Gao Yang smiled, patted Salim’s shoulder again, and softly said, "If it’s advantageous for you, then let’s make our move."
Salim raised his head in surprise and said, "Ah?"
Gao Yang turned around and loudly announced, "Hurry and eat, after the al, we’ll depart!"
Yelling to the crowd, Gao Yang smiled at Salim and said, "Check with Abdullah on the Saudis’ location, their numbers, and update on the details; we’ve got little ti to prepare."
Salim nodded eagerly, "Alright, I’ll ask right away!"
Salim ran off to make a call, while Gao Yang also got out his phone, and once connected, quietly said, "The Iranians want us to eliminate Saudi intelligence agents, the Houthis Ard Forces wish for the sa, coincidentally, I also hope to thoroughly enrage the Saudis. A rare instance where all three sides agree, so we’ll soon launch our attack. I don’t know the exact location of the Saudi agents, but I think you might, so please prepare in advance."
Tarta responded in a low voice, "Understood."
