Lin Feng’s warning made Yu Qiao seethe with rage, but he didn’t dare say anything out loud, just cursed a few tis in his heart and glanced at his teammates.

Seeing him getting roasted and then looking over, Little Sister Dong flashed a bright grin, still delighting in other people’s misfortune as always.

Yun Kai, anwhile, looked utterly indifferent—this sort of pointless banter didn’t interest him at all.

As for Yue Mingming—he was just so fake Summoner who couldn’t even Summon before, but with Lin Feng’s help he finally rose up, and was now a total boot-licker.

The substitutes of the team were like invisible n standing behind; they had no right to talk at all.

Looking around, Yu Qiao realized he had no one to vent to, so he could only leave dejectedly, planning to seek so presence elsewhere.

But it didn’t take long before he showed up in front of Lin Feng again, looking indignant as he said, "Lin Feng, that Xie Yixiao has a problem with you—he called you out in front of reporters!"

Indignant was an act; Yu Qiao’s face was more amused and gossipy than anything, and he didn’t even bother to hide it.

"Xie Yixiao?"

Hearing the na, Lin Feng was montarily stunned.

One of the Top Ten Glory All-Stars, Glorious First Thunder Technique, aka Little Thunder God—of course he knew who that was.

He and Xie Yixiao didn’t actually know each other, had no overlap—why on earth was this guy calling him out?

Could it be because of Ju Xing Club?

He’d ripped off Ju Xing once, turning the club into the alliance’s laughingstock; Ju Xing mbers wanting payback made sense.

"Brother Feng, the internet says Xie Yixiao is chasing after Ya Ge."

Little Sister Dong whispered a reminder.

"Oh."

Lin Feng finally got it.

He glanced at Xie Yixiao’s spot—all pro-players, familiar faces from TV, favorite of advertisers.

Thirty pro-players; eight All-Stars were the absolute center of attention, shining the brightest. At that mont, Xie Yixiao stood beside Ye Xing, locking eyes with Yun Tianqi—clearly they weren’t getting along.

When Lin Feng looked over, Xie Yixiao seed to sense it, glanced back, a faint smile curling on his lips—but his eyes were filled with contempt and blatant provocation.

Definitely not here in peace.

So, Lin Feng t that look with his own provocative stare, no trace of fear.

To survive the ferocious competition of Glory Alliance and beco a Top Ten Glory All-Star, Xie Yixiao’s strength and talent was beyond doubt.

With Ju Xing’s support and coaching, every Soul Skill Xie Yixiao absorbed was high-level, and the combinations were perfect; even though he hadn’t broken into the Grandmaster Realm yet, his combat power could crush most Eighth Grade Realm players, and even so weaker Ninth Grade Realm players.

Usually, a rookie no matter how talented—a Demon Fiend or whatever—would wilt in the face of an All-Star’s aura, lacking both power and confidence. Facing such seniors, even if you’re proud inside, you’d show respect and be damn careful not to offend.

Lin Feng was different, though; his raw strength gave him total confidence, and he wasn’t losing any ground in terms of aura.

He was still young, but Lin Feng’s achievents ant that even if he didn’t pay Xie Yixiao the respect, no one could say a word.

Lin Feng’s fierce stance clearly surprised Xie Yixiao, who shot a cold glare at him.

In Xie Yixiao’s eyes, Lin Feng’s attitude was arrogant as hell.

A newbie, sure, so nice achievents, but way too cocky, not giving him any face at all.

That made Xie Yixiao, already annoyed by Lin Feng, make up his mind—tomorrow at the opening ceremony, Lin Feng would get schooled.

Xie Yixiao’s reaction caught Yun Tianqi and Ye Xing’s attention too. They followed his gaze, saw Lin Feng, and then Yun Tianqi curled his lips in a smile, waving at Lin Feng; Ye Xing nodded as a greeting.

Lin Feng smiled back, then looked away, not giving it another thought.

Just an All-Star player—compared to the threat from Apostle candidates, he didn’t even count.

In Lin Feng’s plan, he wouldn’t join Glory Alliance within a year, which ant he wouldn’t cross paths with Xie Yixiao anyti soon.

No need to bother.

anwhile, on the other side, Feng Yining was all excitent as she said to Ya Ge, "Xie Yixiao and Lin Feng seem to have locked horns."

Feng Yining had been watching Lin Feng the whole ti.

The stare-down between Lin Feng and Xie Yixiao naturally caught her eye; to her, it looked like two guys fighting over a girl.

What really surprised her was that Lin Feng’s montum didn’t dip one bit, even facing Xie Yixiao; his eyes even showed a hint of disdain, as if Xie Yixiao didn’t matter at all.

"Lin Feng’s definitely not simple—no one with a big na is weak, no wonder he’s the guy that made Alien Race geniuses fear him. Not even Xie Yixiao could make him flinch."

Feng Yining sighed a little.

Like Ya Ge, Feng Yining had also signed with Ju Xing Club.

People in the second string like them always had to bow and greet the core team, watch their words, terrified of offending anyone.

Xie Yixiao and Ye Xing, as All-Star players, were Ju Xing Club’s most popular twin stars.

Ye Xing was the captain, universally recognized as number one.

Xie Yixiao was number two—even though he was easygoing and liked to joke around, always grinning, his place as a core and All-Star still made the second string awed and timid in front of him.

If any other rising star—be it Ye Qiu or Yun Kai—dared to cross Xie Yixiao, Feng Yining would see it as absolutely insane, reckless to the point of death-wish.

But Lin Feng, besides being a little shocked, she didn’t feel he was arrogant.

Lin Feng may be young but his popularity matched Xie Yixiao’s, and on ga stats alone, Xie Yixiao couldn’t compare to Lin Feng.

Plus, it was Lin Feng who had the guts to play Ju Xing for fools, and at that ti he was just eighteen and a re Second Grade Martial Artist, yet still had the nerve.

Now, Lin Feng was already Sixth Grade and universally acknowledged as unbeatable at that level. Shutting down a whole discipline had made him world-famous, not giving an All-Star player the ti of day was perfectly normal.

At Feng Yining’s sigh, Ya Ge glanced at Xie Yixiao, then Lin Feng, eyes flickering quietly, remaining calm.

Seeing that, Feng Yining could only suppress her gossip, though she looked at Ya Ge with a hint of sympathy.

The better Lin Feng perford right now, the more complicated Ya Ge’s feelings would be.

.....

After a short welco ceremony, the dia snapped so photos and interviews. The players didn’t hang around long; soon, a coach bus rolled up, whisked Lin Feng and company away toward the hotel while fans cheered.

On the bus, Bu Zheng sat next to Lin Feng, saying, "I have a buddy who runs an auction house in Shangjing—it’s pretty big. I just called him, and he says he’ll need about a week’s worth of promo."

"Good, appreciate it."

Lin Feng nodded.

This Space Ring may be precious and really useful, but keeping it on him was risky too. Selling it made sense—leveling up his own power was what actually mattered.

One hundred billion—he was basically upper-class now.

Even for the wealthy, very few could cough up that much cash at once.

"It’s no trouble; Space Rings are rare treasures—only the top-level elites own them, rarely up for auction. So he actually thanked , said he wouldn’t charge any commissions this ti." Bu Zheng said.

"Damn, that’s real money!"

Hearing all this, Yu Qiao’s eyes lit up from his seat behind them, tongue clicking with envy, jealousy, hate—the whole nine yards.

Filthy rich!

Gold-drenched tycoon!

Compared to Lin Feng, he felt like a beggar.

Thinking back, if only he’d been stronger—he could’ve had that Space Ring, he could’ve had that hundred billion!

With that kind of cash, the Six-winged Illusion Python would be an easy buy, right?

The more he thought about it, the more Yu Qiao regretted, like he’d just missed a hundred billion!

Missed his shot at the peak of life!

Once they arrived at the hotel, it was fans, more photos, settling into their rooms, and then free ti.

"Head back to your rooms and rest. The opening ceremony’s tomorrow; don’t go out if you don’t have to."

Bu Zheng told Lin Feng’s group, though his eyes mostly stayed on Lin Feng.

"Got it."

Lin Feng and company answered.

"Lin Feng, wait!"

Just as Lin Feng grabbed his room card and was about to turn in—having finished check-in—Yang Ningbing hurried over and called out to him.

"What’s up?"

After the battles on Divine Martial Continent and against Alien Race—plus the Contract—Lin Feng didn’t mind Yang Ningbing anymore.

"Legs busted or sothing?"

Yu Qiao deliberately slowed his pace as he passed by; Yang Ningbing glared at him, voice sharp.

"What’s with all the mystery?"

Yu Qiao curled his lip, clearly put out, but didn’t dare grumble too much. He quickly ducked into his room.

"My grandpa wants to see you."

With Yu Qiao gone, Yang Ningbing finally told Lin Feng.

"Your grandpa?"

Lin Feng smirked sarcastically, asking, "For what? Want to rejoin the family?"

"Pretty much."

Yang Ningbing nodded, not denying it.

"And what can the Yang Race actually offer ?"

Lin Feng asked curiously, but didn’t give Yang Ningbing a chance to reply before continuing, "Money? I have so after selling the Space Ring. Power? In ten years, when you all grow up, I’ll have it too!"

Yang Ningbing went silent for a while, unable to refute him.

She also wanted Lin Feng to return to the family, because she understood his potential and how terrifying he was better than anyone there.

Just as Lin Feng said—once her generation matured and took over, the resources Lin Feng could muster would make even the biggest family in the country nervous.

Lin Feng didn’t have a family backing him, but he had ten, maybe dozens of top-level powerhouses behind him; dozens of families—no single clan could compare.

Yang Ningbing knew how big Lin Feng’s future was, but because of the Contract, she couldn’t tell anyone about it.

"Sa old story—want back, get that man to beg ."

Finished, Lin Feng opened his room door and disappeared from her sight.

Yang Ningbing stood outside Lin Feng’s door for a long ti, then sighed helplessly and left quickly.

Beg?

How could that ever happen!

He was a man whose pride bordered on pathological!
