The Abbot as well as Pan Ning's face changed and exclaid in shock, while the Emperor did not expect that demonic creature to suddenly co towards him. He instinctively shrunk back and wanted to avoid it, but his body couldn't move as if it was controlled by a force.

The old man was startled, holding onto the wall and standing up, when he saw the Imperial Guards outside rushing in, and the Commander of the Imperial Guards roared in a deep voice, "Who dares to commit an assassination in the palace! Arrest him!"
