Chapter 4558: Turmoil

“What are you talking about? I’ll accompany you to investigate,” the old man said, exiting the room. “What classification of spirit beast is this silver wolf? Have you not heard the reports? Surely, they are accompanied by powerful individuals, beyond those three children?”
The middle-aged man followed closely, saying, “Father, you are aware as I am of the scarcity of high-level spirit beasts in this region. Even if they existed, I doubt many could identify the wolf’s classification. However, the aura and pressure emanating from it were highly intimidating, leading to believe it is no ordinary spirit beast.”
Both father and son hurriedly walked out while they were talking. At the sa ti, the other families in the city were doing the sa thing. The Old Predecessors of each family were all alard and planned to go and see for themselves what was going on.
Even the City Lord could not care about anything else and went in person to Mo Family dical Hall.
By this ti, the dical Hall’s entrance was thronged with onlookers, leaving only Hao’er, a few others, and the shrunken Silver Wolf within. Those outside could not penetrate the crowd.
...
“Doctor, please examine his injuries,” Hao’er requested, his gaze fixed on the unconscious Seventeen.
The commotion drew out the Old Patriarch of the Mo Family. Even the seasoned Old Patriarch Mo, experiencing a tremor at the sight of the Silver Wolf, examined Seventeen with ticulous care.
After a prolonged examination, he announced, “The injuries have affected the five internal organs and six viscera. It seems that he has taken dicinal pills to treat internal injuries, but they can only stabilise the injuries in the body, but not heal them. Even if I use dicine to make him drink it for ten or more days, I’m afraid he will be useless after he recovers.’.”
“Useless?” Muchen frowned. “You cannot heal him?”
Old Patriarch Mo shook his head. “He was injured by a Golden Core cultivator, with resulting damage to his internal organs. Ordinary dicine is insufficient. Unless…” He paused, sighing.
“Unless what?” Yue’er asked.
Old Patriarch Mo glanced at Yue’er, then Hao’er. “Unless there is a miraculous redy, otherwise, even if he recovers from his injuries, he will still have the root cause and he will be a useless person.”
Hao’er’s eyes flickered. Originally, he was thinking that if the dicinal pills from Rejuvenating Hall would improve Seventeen’s condition, then he would use the dicinal pills from Rejuvenating Hall. After all, he no longer had many of the dicinal pills his Mother gave him to treat internal injuries. If he still couldn’t find a way back, and if sothing happened to Muchen and Muyue, without the dicinal pills nearby just in case, he wouldn’t know what to do if sothing were to happen.
However, after listening to the Doctor, he knew that if he wanted to save Seventeen, it seed that he had no choice but to use his mother’s dicinal pills.
“Doctor, we need to recuperate here for a few days. Do you have any place we can rent to recuperate?” Hao’er asked directly.
Old Patriarch Mo, montarily taken aback, nodded. “There is a small courtyard in the rear, but…” He glanced at the Silver Wolf, concern evident.
“Rest assured, it will harm no one,” Hao’er said, understanding his apprehension. “Provided no one harbours ill intent, it will remain docile. You need not fear it causing trouble.”
Old Patriarch Mo nodded. “Very well. I will show you to the courtyard and have soone prepare dicine.”
