After glancing at the group, Hao’er turned to the City Lord. “City Lord, I need to speak with them privately.”
“Very well. I’ll have tea brought to you.” The City Lord replied, excusing himself.

Following introductions, the Sect Master looked at Hao’er, then at the twins, his mind filled with wonder.
How could such young children be accompanied by a guard of such unremarkable strength?

“Indeed,” Hao’er replied, adding, “We are from the Upper Realm.”
The sect mbers exchanged glances, unsurprised, as they had already suspected as much. However, it was clear that Hao’er had anticipated their arrival.
“Since you are from the Upper Realm, how did you arrive here? And what do you wish to discuss?” the Sect Master asked.
“We heard that your sect can facilitate travel to the Upper Realm. We seek your assistance in returning,” Hao’er said, adding, “Your help will be generously rewarded.”
The sect mbers exchanged puzzled looks. “If you are from the Upper Realm and arrived here, surely you have a way to return. Why do you need our help?” An elder asked.
“We arrived due to an accident and lost contact with our families. We are currently unable to return on our own,” Hao’er explained.
“If that’s the case, which Upper Realm family are you from? Perhaps we can notify them,” the Sect Master suggested, smiling wryly. “I must be frank: the Immortal Envoys who co to select individuals for the Upper Realm decide who and what they bring. Even as Sect Master, I have no influence.”
Hao’er frowned, pausing in thought. This presented a problem.
“In that case, we will accompany you to the sect and wait. We will speak with the Immortal Envoy when he arrives,” Silver Wolf said, standing and stretching. He walked towards the sect mbers, who instinctively leaned back. He looked down at them. “My little masters’ parents are not to be ntioned lightly. Your assistance now will be rewarded in the future.”
The sect mbers exchanged thoughtful glances and agreed. “Very well. You will return with us to the sect.”
They reasoned that assisting them could only bring good fortune. Moreover, Hao’er’s exceptional cultivation at such a young age suggested his parents were even more powerful.
They prepared to depart, but the City Lord arrived, his expression grave. “Young Master Xuanyuan, nearly a hundred cultivators have arrived, claiming to be from Rejuvenating Hall. They demand an explanation.”
