Seeing the children, he decided capturing them would be more effective than confronting the silver wolf. Then, the silver wolf would have to comply.
He signaled to his n, who had spread out, to act accordingly.
“Patriarch Ruan, they are our honored guests. I’d advise you to withdraw your family. Otherwise, a conflict will result in significant losses,” the Sect Master reminded him, hoping to avoid bloodshed.
“They killed a mber of my family. We cannot let this go,” the patriarch said grimly, striking his walking stick on the ground. This was a prearranged signal. His n, hidden among the cultivators, rushed towards the children.
The Sect Master and his group prepared to intervene, but Hao’er commanded, “Silver Wolf!”
Instantly, Silver Wolf, who had been on the wall, pounced, biting the necks of those who had charged forward.
Blood sprayed, and the scent of death filled the air. The suddenness of the attack shocked the sect mbers. Silver Wolf’s speed was so great they couldn’t react.
“Arghhhhhh!”
“Hiss! Arghhh!”
The cultivators, all Golden Core cultivators, scread as they were killed. So were bitten, others were crushed by Silver Wolf’s claws.
Hao’er stepped forward, standing beside Silver Wolf. “Do you want to die? Or live?” he asked the Ruan Family Patriarch coldly.
Threatened by a ten-year-old, the Patriarch was speechless. He stared at the corpses, their eyes still open, and at the surrounding crowd. He gritted his teeth and shouted, “Capture him! Kill him if necessary! And those two little ones, whoever captures one and will receive 10,000 gold coins!”
