The two hesitated, afraid to fight back for fear of injuring the young boy. Nevertheless, Hao'er's attacks grew increasingly precise, making it difficult for them to evade his strikes.
At this ti, the dozen disciples behind them quietly surrounded Seventeen. Against this low-level cultivator who had just started to practice, any one of the disciples could absolutely suppress him. In no ti, they first captured Seventeen.
"Stop! Otherwise, we'll kill him!" One of the disciples bellowed, pressing his sword's edge against Seventeen's throat, threatening the young child.
"Seventeen!" Yue'er exclaid, her beautiful eyes overflowing with anger.
Muchen pursed his lips, clenched his fists, and said nothing. His eyes coldly fixed on the disciple holding the sword at Seventeen's neck.
Hao'er stopped, his gaze sharp like a knife, cold and piercing as he looked at that shaless disciple who had the audacity to threaten them. The cold gaze made the disciple shiver, and he involuntarily flinched backwards, but the hand holding the sword at Seventeen's neck did not move.
"Seize him!"
A commanding voice echoed, and the Grand Elder, accompanied by his entourage, rushed forward, imdiately ordering Hao'er's capture.
"Young Master, pay no mind!" Seventeen shouted, struggling against his captors, only to be nicked by the sword's edge, a trickle of blood staining his neck.
"Seventeen, remain still!"
Hao'er's voice was frigid, his small, stern face etched with frost. His gaze flickered over Seventeen's bleeding wound before settling on the disciple, his voice cutting through the air, "If he dies, I'll ensure you and your entire family will perish with him!"
Because of these words, and because of Hao'er's cold gaze and serious expression, the disciple was shocked into retreat. He was so scared that his face turned white, his lips trembled, and he took a step back without realising it. He also carefully moved the sword that was resting on Seventeen's neck a little, lest he should accidentally kill him with his sword.
Seventeen listened to Hao'er's words, his eyes welling with tears and his throat choking. He stood still and watched as several disciples ca forward and bound Hao'er with ropes.
"I'm sorry, Young Master, I've caused you trouble," he said, bowing his head in self-reproach and feeling very guilty.
"It's not your fault, we just couldn't beat them," Hao'er said, his eyes cold as he stared at the Grand Elder, and at the sa ti he commanded, "Silver Wolf, take Chen'er and Yue'er and leave!"
"No! I'm not leaving! I want to stay with Big Brother!" Yue'er exclaid.
"I'm not leaving either!" Muchen shouted his stance as he remained at his spot.
The silver wolf glanced at the two little ones and said nothing. Even if they fled with them at this point, they wouldn't know where to go, not to ntion that they were so young, how could they manage without Hao'er and Seventeen looking after them?
Moreover, Hao'er was its contract master, and it could not just leave him alone.
"Hahahaha, even if you want to leave, you can't.'
A sinister voice, laced with excitent and malice, echoed through the air.
The Silver Wolf spun around, placing itself between the children and the approaching crowd, shielding them behind its massive form. Its bloodthirsty gaze scanned the throng, finally settling on a cultivator draped in a black cloak.
"Is this the Super Sacred Beast, the Silver Wolf? Indeed, a sight to behold!" The Old Predecessor of the Mountain Demon fixed his predatory gaze on the Silver Wolf, as if it were a prized possession. His gaze was intensely possessive.
