As the new barrier she had erected settled into place, a layer of water rippled around them. In the next mont, she flicked her sleeves, put away the night pearl, clutched the water-repellent pearl in her hand, spun gracefully, and ascended swiftly towards the sea surface.
Du Fan and the others waited anxiously on the airship. They watched as waves crashed against the sea surface, layer after layer, even witnessing so rise several ters high. They couldn't help but wonder if their Master had indeed found Hell's Lord down there. As ti passed, they noticed other cultivators not far from them, seemingly watching their movents, their curiosity piqued by the unusual activity.

Seeing her erge from the sea, the people on the airship couldn't help but let out cries of joy and relief. However, after the initial surge of excitent, they quickly realized that their Master had co out alone. Hell's Lord was still nowhere to be seen. For a mont, the people exchanged uncertain glances, and the smiles on their faces gradually faded.
Feng Jiu stood above the sea, her red robe fluttering in the wind, her black hair dancing around her. Her exquisite face held a slightly cold, resolute aura, and her eyes, which carried the inherent authority of a high-ranking official, swept lightly over the curious onlookers before she gathered her energy and flew back to the airship.
"Send a ssage back and call a Phoenix Guard over here to patrol," Feng Jiu ordered indifferently, her voice firm.
Hearing this, the others exchanged glances. Luo Yu gently nudged Du Fan beside him with his elbow, subtly motioning for him to ask the questions they all harbored.
Seeing the unspoken prompt, Du Fan responded, "Yes, I'll send word back and call a Phoenix Guard over." He paused briefly, then, gathering his courage, asked, "Master, did you find anything at the bottom of the sea? Is the Lord of Hell down there?"
"He's down there, but the situation isn't good," Feng Jiu said softly, her voice tinged with both helplessness and unconcealed worry. "I can't bring him up, so I had to leave him there."
She continued, her voice gaining a touch of resolve, "The Green Dragon's true qi is protecting him and nourishing his soul. I've set up another barrier down there, and I've ordered our people to patrol the surrounding waters to make sure no one disturbs him."
"Yes, I understand," Du Fan replied, his earlier questions answered. He looked at her, sensing her mood, and said nothing further, instead turning and heading into the cabin to make the necessary arrangents. Once inside, he imdiately took out his communication jade and inford Qi Kang and the others about what had transpired, reiterating the order to dispatch a Phoenix Guard to the location.
"It seems that Hell's Lord is in really bad shape. Even Master couldn't bring him up from the bottom of the sea," Luo Yu couldn't help but voice his concern to Gu Mo. "How badly do you think the lightning tribulation injured him? How long will it take to nourish his soul?"
Leng Hua glanced at him, understanding the gravity of the situation. "The Master isn't in a good mood," he advised softly. "Let's just do as she said! The other masters didn't say anything, so we shouldn't ask too many questions right now."
"Yes, I understand," Luo Yu replied, sighing as he looked out at the vast sea, the mystery of Hell's Lord's condition weighing on him.
"Should we park the airship here or go to the coast?" Gu Mo asked the others, seeking a decision on their imdiate next steps.
Du Fan thought for a mont, then concluded, "Let's park here first! Otherwise, so cultivators with bad intentions might take the opportunity to sneak into the sea."
