“Yes.” The two replied, not knowing what else to say, and withdrew.
Patriarch Wei thought for a mont, then called his butler, gave him so instructions, and left. He was going to take a look himself to see if it was really a Sacred Beast.
Feng Jiu slept for a while and felt much better. She tidied herself up, put on her outer robe, and walked out. As soon as she opened the door, she saw Cloud Devouring crouching at the door.
“Where’s Mi?”
Feng Jiu asked as she ca to the balcony and looked downstairs. She saw that there were many people sitting on the first floor, but they were all quiet and didn’t dare to speak loudly. As she walked out, those people looked up at her with a questioning look in their eyes.
“She’s cooking in the kitchen,” said Cloud Devouring.
“What’s going on? Why is the atmosphere so strange?” She had only taken a short nap, so why was the atmosphere in the inn so strange when she woke up?
Cloud Devouring glanced down and said, “Earlier, when the master was asleep, the Wei family ca looking for trouble again. I dealt with them, and that’s how it is.”
Hearing this, Feng Jiu was taken aback, then smiled and said nothing. Instead, she walked over to a table by the window on the second floor. As soon as she sat down, the waiter hurried over to serve tea.

“Yes, ma’am.” With that, he hurriedly called the waiter to bring the food.
Song Mi’er returned to the kitchen, carried the bowls upstairs herself, placed them on the table, and smiled, “Sister, you got up just in ti. This soup has been simring for a long ti and the flavor is just right. Co and try so.”
Feng Jiu saw that she was busy in the kitchen, her pretty face flushed but looking full of energy, so she smiled and said, “You should sit down and rest for a while!” With that, she picked up the teapot and poured her a cup of tea.
“Thank you, sister,” Song Mi’er said with a smile. She scooped a bowl of soup for her, then picked up her cup of tea and drank it in one gulp. As soon as she put the cup down, she saw a bowl of soup that had just been scooped out in front of her.
