“Can’t handle this much?” Feng Jiu sneered coldly, planting her foot squarely on his arm and crushing it clean off. A faint gasp reached her ears.
Only then did she seem to recall Lady Song standing nearby. Withdrawing her foot, she flashed an apologetic smile and turned to her. “Did I scare you? Honestly, I’m not usually like this.”

“What do they want?” Lady Song froze, utterly bewildered.
“Then we’ll have to ask him.” Feng Jiu smiled, twirling a dagger in her hand as she fixed her gaze on Cheng Wanli. “Speak! Why did you co to the Song manor for? What did you intend to take?”
“You bitch! You’ll never get a word out of !” he snarled, glaring at the woman in the blue robe.
He seethed inwardly: Once he discovered who this woman truly was, he would wipe out her entire clan! She would have no place to be buried! No—she would die a thousand cuts, suffering every possible humiliation!
“Arghhhhhhh!”
Suddenly, another piercing scream echoed through the room. Feng Jiu, twirling a dagger in her hand, drove it viciously into Cheng Wanli’s thigh. The blade pierced clean through, blood instantly seeping out, soaking his trousers and dripping onto the floor.
