Capítulo 5091: Sothing’s Wrong
As she spoke, her divine sense probed downward, searching for Mo Ze’s location. Yet, the mont she probed, her heart sank.
Seeing her face turn extrely grim, Du Fan and the others exchanged glances and asked, “Master, how is Hell’s Lord?”
“Gone.”
Feng Jiu’s voice was slightly deepened, coldness evident in her eyes. “A trace of Black Lotus aura lingers in the depths of the sea. It was the Firmant Monarch who took action.”
She hadn’t expected that a re sovereign could break through her barrier, especially while she was en route to the Heavenly Pill Tower. The lingering aura of the Black Lotus in the sea was accompanied by a distinct scent of blood, which deeply unsettled her, stirring an urge to unleash a bloody rampage.
She drew in a breath and soared into the air, her murderous intent pouring forth in that instant. A crimson figure streaked out like a flash of light, vanishing instantly into the clouds.
Her speed was too swift—so swift that Du Fan and the others had no chance to follow. Watching her depart, Du Fan remarked, “Our Master must be going after that Firmant Monarch.”
“Should we follow and assist?” Gray Wolf inquired.
Luo Yu shook his head. “Our Master moves too swiftly for us to catch up. Moreover, her power is formidable—our presence would be of no help. With so many Sovereigns slain, chaos is inevitable. Our duty now is to quell the uprisings across the realms, ensuring our Master faces no distractions.”
Hearing this, Gray Wolf glanced at him. “That’s exactly what My Lady told Qi Kang earlier.” His voice trailed off as he gazed toward the horizon, his voice tinged with worry. “But now that our Master is gone, could sothing have happened?”
“I don’t believe Hell’s Lord will co to harm. Even if he hasn’t regained consciousness yet, the Firmant Monarch intends to threaten Master. Hell’s Lord will certainly not allow anything to happen to Hell’s Lord. Otherwise, if Hell’s Lord truly t with misfortune, the Firmant Monarch wouldn’t survive either.” Du Fan spoke slowly, his gaze fixed on the sea surface where the air currents were gradually dissipating. “Although he is no longer beneath us, I believe it is necessary to go down and investigate.”
“I’ll go with you,” Leng Hua declared.
Du Fan looked at him and nodded. “Alright.” With that, both plunged into the sea.
“Let’s return and make arrangents,” Luo Yu said, turning toward the airship.
The towering waves had receded at so point, and the churning sea gradually cald. Yet, a heavy weight settled in everyone’s hearts—for Hell’s Lord was gone.
Inside the airship, Fan Lin was assisting Qin Xin and Ye Feifei with their treatnt. Stepping out of the cabin, he saw them return and asked, “How did it go?”
The others shook their heads and briefly recounted the situation.
Hearing their words, Fan Lin and the others couldn’t help but frown. “This is troubleso.”
“My lady has already gone after her. She’ll be fine,” Gray Wolf stated, though it was unclear whether he was reassuring them or himself.
After a long while, Du Fan and Leng Hua returned from the ocean depths, landing back in the airship. Both pressed their lips tightly together, their expressions grim.
“How did it go? Did you find anything?” Guan Xilin asked urgently.
Du Fan and Leng Hua exchanged a glance before Leng Hua replied, “We found so extrely small fragnts of bodies on the seabed. Our master said it was triggered by her self-destruction spell breaking her barrier, but under those circumstances, we feel sothing isn’t quite right.”
“It’s impossible for soone to have taken Hell’s Lord away while the self-destruction spell was active. And that air current was so powerful, so…” Du Fan paused, his expression grave.
