Hearing this, Feng Jiu smiled and glanced at him. “You go check on her. I’ll see Feifei later.” With that, she headed toward another side room.
Fan Lin quickly entered the room. Seeing Qin Xin preparing to get out of bed, he said, “Why are you getting up? Go back to bed imdiately.”
“Master treated , and I feel much better. I want to go see Feifei.” Qin Xin replied, glancing at him. “Why did you rush in here? Shouldn’t you be staying with Master to see if Feifei needs help?”
Fan Lin smiled. “I thought I’d check on you first, then go see Feifei. Just for a mont—it won’t delay anything.”
“I’ll go with you!” She felt her body was about eighty percent recovered; getting out of bed and walking was no problem now.
Fan Lin looked at her. Seeing her complexion was much better than before, he finally nodded and walked out with her.
Arriving at Feifei’s room, they found the master already taking her pulse. Fan Lin stepped forward. “Master, I administered the dicinal pill to Feifei, but it only eased her condition slightly. She hasn’t regained consciousness since her collapse. Her chest was shattered, causing extensive damage to her internal organs. Only the tily treatnt saved her—an ordinary person would never have survived such injuries.”
Feng Jiu nodded. “Her injuries are indeed severe.” She turned to Fan Lin. “Prepare a hot dicinal bath. I will treat her.”
“What herbs does Master require for the decoction?” Fan Lin inquired, unsure of the ingredients needed for the bath.
Feng Jiu walked to the table, took out ink and brush, wrote a prescription, and handed it to him. “Gather these herbs to boil. Once ready, send Leng Shuang over.”
“Master, I’m feeling much better now. I can help,” Qin Xin offered.
Feng Jiu shook her head. “You’re not fully recovered yet. Return to your quarters and have Fan Lin prepare so dicine for you. Rest and recuperate for two days. Stay in bed and rest properly.”
“I’ll see to it imdiately,” Fan Lin replied, taking the prescription and heading out.
