Third Person P.O.V.
Pala Isley's eyes flutter open as her body moves closer to the warm sensation on her side. She hugs and presses herself against it. Pala can't help but sigh in contentnt as her body squirms and stretches beneath the comfortable pillow she is hugging.
That is when her mind catches up with her waking body… She is not hugging a pillow, or even Harley.
"!!" The sleepiness leaves her very quickly when she becos aware of that.
"Good morning…" Hector's insufferably hot voice, coupled with his beautiful face, greets her. His smile is also insufferable, amused by her actions as if she were so sort of entertainnt to him.
"Go fuck yourself…" She retorts in a low voice
He gasps exaggeratedly, "It is with this mouth that you kiss ? And does all those other things?" He raises an inquisitive eyebrow at her
"Shut up-Mmpf!"
Hector, instead, shuts her up with a kiss. She barely has ti to feel surprise before he pulls away and smiles at her.
"You are lucky that, because of my physiology, I don't have bad morning breath." Pala scoffs
"Is that so? Let check." And he kisses her again.
Knowing what was coming, she made up her mind to act reluctant, but when it happened, Pala just leaned in and enjoyed the kiss.
His right arm goes beneath her body and around her waist to pull her closer, and Pala runs her right hand through his hair. From their position, she needs to lower her head for the kiss while he needs to raise his chin.
The words that ca out of her mouth can an one thing, but what her mouth does is a completely different story.
She barely woke up, and her body is already getting a surge of adrenaline and excitent because of this make-out session. That is why she stopped it, so as not to get carried away and repeat what happened last night.
With so effort, Pala separated herself from him and used her arms to help her sit up. Now she has a clear vision of the state of the bed, and that just brought back mories of last night.
She is at Hector's right side, a little above, with his head at her shoulder level. On the opposite side, Shego is sleeping while hugging his left side, but she is a little down, her face resting on his chest.
And there is Harley, in the middle, sleeping on his stomach with a very bad posture.
The blanket makes so effort in hiding everyone's modesty, but it is not that successful.
"They are still sleeping?" She asks, mostly to shift the mood a little.
"Well… not to brag, but you passed out first last night, so it's only natural you would wake up early." He gives her a cocky grin "We went for a little more while you were sleeping."
"I did not pass out." She denies it vehently. "With the party, the drinks and everything else… I just slept quickly." She will never admit that he tired her so much that she was sleeping the mont their last round ended. "It is just that you bored to death…"
"Okay, Okay… if you say so." He doesn't argue, acting sure of himself. "But don't feel bad about it, and this also reminds … You need to go through the enhancents."
"Enhancents? Harley said a thing or two about that…" Pala is suddenly interested. It is as clear as day that Harley is now in a different physical league than her.
She saw Harley bench pressing sothing she would expect Bane to carry with difficulty, and Harley was talking casually with her at that ti.
"Yes, an overall drastic increase in all your stats and so powers." Hector explains
"Drastic? And what kind of powers?" she lies on her side again, face close to his.
"Hm, below the 100 ton mark on strength… basically invincible on street-level. Think that you would be able to dominate Gotham without using a single leaf." He scratches his chin. "And about powers… You can choose from mine, with a few exceptions. I would suggest things that complent the abilities that you already have and your talents. But you can also choose anything you like… Harley here got one that is pretty useless."
"The honking breasts…" Pala said in realization, her face in full deadpan. "I can't believe she chose sothing so useless."
"Exactly. Haha!" Hector laughs. "There are limits to how many powers your body can take, even after enhancent. The limit is not on numbers; it is based on how strong the powers are and your compatibility. So honking breasts basically took no space, so it was not a waste of a slot."
"So I can get a hundred weak powers like this one or a super strong one."
"That is how it works, yes. I recomnd between 5 and 7. At least one strong power, two moderately strong, and others that are more of support. Like so passive powers."
"What powers would you give ?" Pala asks for his advice; he is the specialist here.
"There is a list you can check later, but you absolutely must get the Plant Transformation and Creation." Hector raises his hand, and his limb becos brown, covered in tree bark. His fingers elongate unnaturally, and leaves start sprouting…
Five seconds later, and it does not even look like a hand, just a small tree connected to his forearm.
"That is… intriguing." Pala can't hide her interest. Hector can even make the small branches move.
"Seeing that you have Plant Manipulation and even so empathic-related powers with flora… Creation and Transformation will complete the set." Hector makes his hand turn back to normal in an instant.
Then he closes his fist, and when he opens it again, there is a rosebud there that blossoms together with the movent of his fingers opening. And after that, he absorbs the rose inside his palm like it never existed.
"That… That is incredible." She really can't hide her interest; Pala's eyes shine like a kid who found herself in a candy store. "You can create any flora? Any?"
"Any that you have the knowledge of… Yes, it is pretty amazing." Hector nods with a smile "Never tried with 'magic' ones, but I tried with the Heart-shaped herbs, and I could recreate them too. Not that it is perfect because they lack the blessing thing."
"Heart-shaped herbs?"
"I will show you later." Hector promises "This power can even do so nasty things, like absorbing water and nutrients from people." He shows his index finger that he turned into a sharp branch "And if you are strong enough, it can even be resistant to the natural weaknesses, like fire."
"Really??"
"Don't be that surprised… pineapples and durian fruits are fire-resistant." Hector shrugs "It is still a weakness, but it will not be like any thug can set you on fire with a matchstick. Or even a flathrower."
"..." She can't even act aloof at this point. This is basically perfect for her. "I don't even need other powers; only this one is enough."
"Don't be like that." Hector shakes his head and bops her nose, annoying her a little, treating her like a child who gave him the wrong answer. "It can be your main power, but you can always get so good extras."
"Like what? Enlighten , oh Great Genius!" She says sarcastically
"You said the right word…" He smiles calmly, not angered, not even a bit. "Wouldn't it be nice to have so sunlight power?"
"..." Flashes of him destroying vampires with lasers appeared in her mind "Like the ones you used last night."
"Maybe not that strong initially… Maybe… if your body can take it. But I was thinking more about you creating what can nurture your plants. A water-based power, too, and even Earth."
"Hmmm, water would indeed be good to protect my babies." Pala has to agree with him.
"Yep, before you can create carnivorous plants that can shoot lasers from their mouths, let's make you hard to defeat first."
"I was not thinking of making my babies shoot lasers…" She rolls her eyes
"Why not? It would be super cool!" He looks at her like she rejected a date, betrayed and disappointed.
"You are so childish…" The rolls of her eyes get even more prominent, and she even huffs.
But she simply wants to avoid eye contact, because the face he made was kinda cute.
"What is the point of that power if you are not gonna make a sunflower rain lasers on your enemies?" He shakes his head, still disappointed.
"Winning in any way possible is enough."
"That is why you are just a villain, and never a super-villain." Hector doesn't stop shaking his head; he is even clicking his tongue now.

"What are you two doing?" Shego finally wakes up, groaning in distaste at being woken by their voices
"Talking." Eidolon answers.

That is when Harley finally wakes up.

"Don't start what we can't end now, Harley." But Hector stops her with so pats on the head

Hector can assimilate characters. The battle to keep his sense of self is a struggle that only he knows.

"If you two nerds are done talking, I think I am gonna take a bath." Shego jumps off the bed, not caring about her nakedness.
"Shouldn't we continue our talk?" Harley asks
"h, this doofus is surprisingly vanilla, and I believe he would accept if I just say 'no' to sothing, and vice versa. We can discover down the line. Normal sex is still pretty amazing."

"Oh! Finally going through the Procedure?? Nice!" Harley cheers "You will love it, Pam. It is like being reborn. Let help you with the choices."

"Last night was very eventful. I have been on the internet all night to catch up with everything…" Kitty comnts to the group of X-n while she lies on one of the couches in the TV room.
"You are just fucking lazy." Illyana says rcilessly while sitting on the armrest of the couch, watching the big TV showing so news of last night, especially Eidolon's fight.
"Illyana!" Piotr admonishes her for saying a bad word, but the blonde girl only sticks out the tip of her tongue while keeping her eyes on the screen.
On the screen, a heated discussion is happening about what Eidolon talked with both Varnae and Dracula. The X-n looked on other channels for a more interesting show about the fight, but most of them censored the fight because it was too bloody.
So they settled on the discussion, sothing that also matters to them, as tas and heroes. They wanted to see the public opinion about this matter.
"Those cowards, show us the fight!" Illyana rages in her russian accent after seeing they skip the part when Eidolon delivers a palm strike on Varnae, and the back of the vampire explodes because of the sunlight leaving the body.
"Don't worry girl, it is all over the internet already." Kitty smiles
"That was fast…" Jubilee says
"People online work fast, there are already edits." Kitty laughs "I am gonna send all the clips to the group chat."
"The fact that Eidolon was fighting his own battle explains why he didn't co to help us last night." Kurt understand
"He sent that Raven girl." Spyke says "Too bad I couldn't even get her number…" His shoulders sag
"He must have thought we could deal with that." Illyana says with so pride in her voice "By the way, he must be coming later."
"Really?" Kitty stands up finally looking away from her phone
"Yeah, in the end, we didn't get the source of those demons." Illyana says with a distant look. She has a good idea of where they ca from.
"Too bad that Raven didn't say anything she discovered when Kurt took us to where the portal started." Jean says while pondering
"She only said, 'I am not familiar with this particular hellish dinsion' and left." Rogue adds
"I wish she had stayed." Kitty pouts

"You are just gonna be dealing with the consequences of your own actions." Scott smirks
"Kitty, your survival instincts must be too numb, but don't try to annoy the dark witch girl who practically solved last night's crisis alone." Jean also adds with a teasing smirk
"Hey, I also put a lot of work." Illyana protests
"We all did." Scott nods
"But her reinforcent really helped us deal with that very quick." Rogue says
"Do you think Eidolon has, like… a person to each job in standby? Ready to deploy…" Jubilee asks the room
"He has a power for every job." Jean scoffs
"Right?? What do you an, he can create a sun? Or simply switch his blood?" Paige doesn't hide her shock. "The guy is even more ridiculous than , and I can adapt to any circumstance."

"He could just take over the world already and beco our ruler." Tabitha says casually, but when she notices that the people around her are looking at her strangely, she pauses. "What?"
"People online have the sa thought." Kitty says while looking back at her phone "Comnts of: 'What is so bad about being ruled by a good guy?', 'If it is inevitable, I prefer that Eidolon does that' and 'The best kind of leader is the one that doesn't want to hold that power'." Kitty reads
"Is this idea really that popular?" Scott asks in surprise
"Half-half…" Kitty retorts absently while scrolling through so forums "There are still a lot of people who are not comfortable with it."
"It is kind of a pointless discussion, no? Eidolon himself said that he is not interested." Jean speaks "It is not like he is running for President of the World."
"Jean, Jean, Jean~ Pointless discussion is the lifeblood of the internet." Kitty clicks her tongue while shaking her head and explains it in a patronizing way. "The world will not change, and they can't even change each other's opinion, but people like saying stuff on the internet, more to find like-minded people than to try to educate or inform anyone. OH! Soone turned that video showing Eidolon's abs from bottom to top in a single image!! Saved!!"

It is at that mont that they hear a sonic boom outside, the old announcent that Eidolon arrived.
"Why don't you say that to him?" Jubilee provokes while everyone stands up

"I asked that once, and he just said is to not to feed a bad habit." Kitty shrugs as they arrive at the door and opens it. She imdiately smiles and says to the hero. "Eidolon!"
She passes through Illyana, who was already talking with him and ignores Raven, for now, to hug Eidolon. "I saw your fight! Super cool! You should make an ani of your adventures outside the public eye or sothing."
"Hello Kitty, and that would not be a bad idea down the line." He smiles lightly while patting her back slightly. "But there is the matter of my secrecy, and as much as I like being transparent, sotis it's for the better to keep certain information from the public."
"Hm? How so?"
"Well, using yesterday as an example… so people are already searching for Dracula's Castle and trying to beco vampires." He sighs
"...pfft! Sorry, I shouldn't laugh, but damm… ahaha!" She covers her mouth after she stops hugging him
"Yeah… Before pulling the veil and showing everything, I think so sort of education beforehand is warranted. I will plan it better in the future" The hero says. "I tried to keep things as educational as possible yesterday, but apparently, it is not enough."
"It was an improvisation, right?" Kitty asks
He nods "Not planned at all, I just rolled with it as it was a good chance to jump so steps in my coexistence plan." He explains before changing the subject "But let's talk about it later… I heard you guys had your own battle last night."
"Yep, it was crazy!" At this point, the rest of the X-n catch up and greet the hero, too. "Thankfully, Raven here helped us. Hey, girl!" Kitty doesn't waste ti throwing herself at won clad in dark purple beside Eidolon.
"...hi." Raven replies dryly, not hugging back, just stiffly staying there.
"Ca here to investigate what happened last night, Eidolon?" Professor Xavier appears at the front door together with Ororo.
"Exactly. I am sure the X-n dealt with it perfectly, but we should discover the reason why that happened." Eidolon nods. "With luck, it was just an accident or so natural vortex, but…"
"It is too coincidental that happened at their school while they are partying." The Professor completes
"The partying may not be the issue; Halloween is a night where magic gets stronger, and those phenona happen… But that happened here of all places." Eidolon looks at Illyana. "Maybe the space is thin because of what happened with Illyana in the past. If it is like that, I should discover ways to prevent it."
"I see, it makes sense." The professor closes his eyes to ponder "Then by all ans, do what you should do, and ask if you need our help with anything."
"Fine. For now, I just want to check the place. Kurt here was the first to see the invasion, right?"
"Yah, I can take you there." The blue teen nods
"I want to go too." Kitty suddenly says
" too." The others also nod, one after the other, all curious to know more of the incident last night.
"Now, now… So many people would only get in the way." Ororo says to them.
"I don't mind. It can be a little educational, and it would only be needed to use so invisibility powers to hide them." Eidolon interjects "I also plan to repair the school, so I can use that as an excuse to send the people there away while I investigate."
"Repair the school? Why? Leave it like that for so ti." Spyke whines, but a great deal of his aunt made him go taut as a bow
Eidolon and the rest chuckle, seeing that "It will be boring, but that is a small part of hero work." He says "Later, I plan to go to Monster tropolis, and I can take you guys there if you want."
"Monster tropolis?" Xavier asks
"Another important place to monsters, like Dracula's Castle. Now with the 'Lord of the Vampires' under my custody, I have to play so politics." Eidolon sighs
The eyes of the teen shine at hearing that.
"A city of monsters? Really?" Kitty exclaims
"Vampires and werewolves?" Jubilee is also excited
"Is it safe?" Xavier asks the pertinent question
"It is very civilized… Don't worry, I will protect them…" Eidolon assures them "And they can also defend themselves if anyone looks for trouble." He adds afterwards, making the teens puff their chests a little.
"Hm, if you say so, I will trust you, Eidolon…" Xavier eventually relents "I imagine seeing such a place will expand their horizons."
"With so effort and luck, in a not-too-distant future, this kind of trip will beco much more common… to everyone." Eidolon says seriously
"I truly hope so." Xavier nods with a small smile

A portal later, and the group arrived at a half-destroyed school. Everyone watched behind an invisible wall as the hero talked with so people that are surveying the area.
So words later, everyone left, and they are alone as the school starts being restored slowly.
"You really have street cred, huh?" Jubilee comnts, impressed
"I also talked with the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to leave." He says when they find themselves in the corridor to the room where the portal appeared
"There are agents here already??" Jubilee asks in surprise
"Every ti sothing like this happens, there will always be agents." Eidolon sighs, "Don't worry, they know to keep you guys alone. Not only does Fury have a deal with the Professor, but I also talked with him." Eidolon explains as he opens the door to the small abandoned room that was the source of the trouble.
The X-n fill the room and look around the completely normal place.
"I checked before, but nothing was written anywhere permanently." Eidolon comnts
"That ans it does not have anyone's finger on it, right?" Jean hopes so
"No, there are other ways of opening portals than carving runes and magic circles on the ground." Illyana answers while looking around, sniffing the air a little.
"Yes, it could have been an item of power that was destroyed after one use, or even a single spell if the perpetrator is strong." Eidolon looks around while activating his All Seeing Eyes of God. "Did the magic in the air change form from last night to now, Raven?"
"It thinned fast despite the large amount of demons." Raven answers in an even voice "Unnaturally fast…"
"I was thinking the sa thing." Eidolon looks around very suspicious "It is almost like soone… cleaned the place."
"Like erasing the evidence?" Rogue suggests
"Possibly." Eidolon says "When you investigate sothing like that, the first and most important thing you have to discover is the person's motives. Even their identity can be put aside initially. Soone just summoning a bunch of demons, not doing anything as they are destroyed, and just cleaning it afterwards is strange…" Eidolon holds his chin. "It is demonic magic… more specifically…"
"From the Limbo." Illyana completes "I can sll it, those demons… I would bet that they are part of that army of puppet demons we fought at the end, from Belasco's collection." She huffs indignantly
"That guy again?"
"Is he aiming for Illyana??"
The X-n are a little worried and ready for a fight.
"Yeah, it is similar to them… but it is still unclear if it is Belasco." Eidolon contemplates while looking around "I an, it could be him… Maybe enough ti has passed, and he recovered… Maybe he sent so demons to test you guys, just so scouts before a bigger invasion… but why is the energy so thin, like he cleaned it? He is not the type to care about that. There is still sothing we don't know."
"Maybe he is scared of you…" Raven suggests
"Possible, but then why use demons that are easily recognizable as his?" Eidolon shrugs casually without a hint of pride. It is just a possibility, after all.
After saying that, Eidolon starts looking further, beyond this room. In front of his eyes, blue magic circles start appearing, like a magnifying lens, so that he would miss anything.
"So… Eidolon can see the flow of magic with his eyes or sothing like that?" Kitty asks Raven.
But Eidolon is not so concentrated that he didn't hear it, so he answers that "Sothing like that… wanna try?"
"Hm? Ah! You can share this vision! I rember you doing it in the interview!" Kitty suddenly gets excited "Please, Eidolon! Please! Please!"
"Why doesn't everyone try it?" Eidolon smiles and turns to him. "Anyone who wants to see through my eyes, raise your hand. You can help search for clues."
And everyone does that. His smile increases, and with a flick of his will, he shares a low-level version of his All Seeing Eyes of God with everyone.
"Oooooohhh~" The awe is instant
"Okay, too much! Too much!" Jubilee says with her hands in front of herself, like she is blind
"Too colorful. The world is gay." Robert jokes
So adapt faster than others, looking around seriously. Kitty decided to take a selfie with her eyes.
"Illyana, you have horns!" Paige shouts after staring at a blurry silhouette covering Illyana
"So we can stare at people's inner selves?" Rogue starts looking around. Everyone is now curious to see how they look.
"What about ? What about ?"
"You are just Spyke, Spyke."
"Ah man…"
"It ans you are a guy very sure of yourself… I think." Kurt consoles him.
They see that Scott is basically a silhouette of quartz, Rogue has a black hole on her torso, and Kitty looks almost invisible… But most of them look normal when they stare at the representation of their souls.
"I would recomnd not looking at …" Raven says with a deadpan voice
"Hm? Why?" When Tabitha turns to look at Raven, Eidolon stops by, creating a wall of energy in front of her
"She is right." He says casually
"Why can't I see anything on you, Eidolon?" Kitty stares at him up and down.
"It is my power, I obviously know how to block it." He says with amusent.
"Boring~"
"Jean, why is your heart on fire? Are you in love?" Kitty asks like is no big deal.
"..." That is sothing Eidolon noticed recently
In the past, he never saw any showings of the Phoenix, but since Jean started surpassing her ntal blocks, so fire appears on her soul, but it is just an illusion representing her connection with the Phoenix Force and not the Entity per se.
In the end, they are not of much help, but that was in line with Eidolon's expectations; he is just letting them have so fun while he works. He obviously gave so instructions on what each color is and what they are seeing.
Maybe the new knowledge about how the world truly is can help so of them use their powers. If Jubilee and Scott take it seriously, Eidolon is sure they can improve from the newfound knowledge alone.
"Hmm, below…" Eidolon finally sees it
Everyone follows his eyes and also looks below.
"I am not seeing anything…" Illyana says
"Because it is much lower." Eidolon explains and then removes the All Seeing Eyes of God from them, making them blink multiple tis to adjust
Eidolon raises his hand, and a portal opens in front of him. It is not one of his usual dark portals, no… This one is a circular one, very open, making crystal clear what is on the other side.
He did that because the other room is too small for everyone to fit comfortably and he doesn't want to ss with the "cri scene".
"Wait here." He says and crosses the division in space, stepping on the side "I see… That is why it was 'clean', a sacrifice." Eidolon declares
Raven purses her lips. "So we helped soone by killing the demons and turning them back into pure demonic energy?"
"Pretty much." Eidolon answers "Well, the portal in the room where you are appeared alone, but let's see who was here."
"What are you doing?" Illyana asks
"I have a very overpowered investigative power that allows to see images of people in the past." He explains and then he uses a combination of powers paired with Moody Blues' power to see who was in this room.
He used his own stand for that; no one can see what he is seeing, but they all see his eyes widening.
"That is a surprise…" He then turns to Jean "Tell , Jean… Do you have an older sister?"
"Eh… no?" She replies, confused.
"Then congratulations on entering the big leagues of heroes… You have an evil twin." Eidolon says sarcastically.
