1685: Chapter 599 1685: Chapter 599 “I doubt your traps can last for long!”
After all, none of the Ancient Powerful Beings were weaklings; although during combat with Zhou Tian, it was rare for these beings to gain any advantage.
However, this doesn’t imply that they were frail.
Such a situation only arose because Zhou Tian was stronger than his opponents.
Putting aside combat ability for the mont, just in terms of Experience, these Ancient Powerful Beings might even surpass Zhou Tian.
Thus, when Zhou Tian’s previously laid Traps earned him rit, those Ancient Powerful Beings first felt Unhappy, and then when they launched their second wave of attacks, they had already discerned the Weakness in Zhou Tian’s Deploynt.
Indeed, though the Traps laid out by Zhou Tian seed effective in weakening the attacks of these Ancient Powerful Beings, as long as these Traps were in place, Zhou Tian truly didn’t need to worry about their assaults anymore.
But were the attacks of those Ancient Powerful Beings really so easy to deal with?
In fact, these beings had already found the Weakness in Zhou Tian’s strategic arrangent.
No matter how useful Zhou Tian’s Traps appeared to be, it does not change one fact: the reduction of the Ancient Powerful Beings’ assaults depended solely on an External Force.
No matter how efficient the Traps were, External Force is still External Force, and so inherent Weaknesses will always exist.
And based on the situation back then, Zhou Tian’s Deploynt, while seemingly beneficial, did possess a universal and significantly critical Weakness.
No matter how impactful those Traps were, when they functioned, they relied on various forms of Energy support.
Should the Energy be cut off or consud excessively, then despite how useful Zhou Tian’s Traps appeared at the mont, they would be rendered useless without Energy support.
Owing to such a Weakness, Zhou Tian’s initially promising Deploynt, when put into actuality, was still inevitably plagued with this Weakness.
No matter how powerful the current Performance, according to the Weakness of Zhou Tian’s Traps, if the frequency of the Ancient Powerful Beings’ attacks increased, Zhou Tian might be able to mitigate their potency a couple of tis using his Traps, but with an increased number of strikes, Zhou Tian might just start struggling to cope.
At most, after several assaults, those Ancient Powerful Beings could likely deplete the Energy of the Traps blocking their offense.
And once the Traps were bereft of Energy, regardless of how impressive they were initially, it’s presud they would no longer be capable of any outstanding Performance.
Without the support of Energy, the Traps would rely be a pile of junk.
Not to ntion we’re currently dealing with a group of not-so-weak Ancient Powerful Beings.
Even if facing a multitude of insignificant living beings, an incapacitated object without any Destructive Power would be utterly ineffective at that ti.
And perhaps it was exactly because they had seen through the Weakness in Zhou Tian’s Deploynt that, although their attacks did not pose any Threat to Zhou Tian, the Battle results of the Ancient Powerful Beings remained unaffected, as if their attacks’ lack of impact on Zhou Tian was utterly commonplace.
Even as their attacks produced no effect, the Ancient Powerful Beings acted as if unaffected and resud their prior assaults against Zhou Tian.
The sa attacks persisted, facing a formidable adversary like Zhou Tian, even though they knew their strikes were likely to be thwarted by his Traps, the Ancient Powerful Beings still proceeded with the sa mode of attack understanding that other attacks were hardly a Threat to Zhou Tian.
When those Ancient Powerful Beings launched their attacks at Zhou Tian again, there was no Accident in the outco.
Both Zhou Tian and the Ancient Powerful Beings had essentially anticipated such a situation occurring.
Even if Zhou Tian’s Deploynt had significant flaws, those wouldn’t beco apparent until his Traps lost their effect.
At least for the mont, Zhou Tian’s Traps were still operational.
As such, as long as Zhou Tian’s Traps remained functional, it was practically impossible for those Ancient Powerful Beings to pose any Threat to him.
However, those Ancient Powerful Beings had not intended to defeat Zhou Tian with just such attacks.
Thus, when they found that their assaults did not endanger Zhou Tian in any way, they didn’t care about the outco of their attacks in the slightest, and without concern for their efficacy, they continued to relentlessly attack Zhou Tian.
As those Ancient Powerful Beings resolved to gamble the outco on a subsequent Combat, the battle with Zhou Tian was inevitably affected at that mont.
