Chapter 1755: Chapter 615_3

Indeed, with the guidance of that Deity, breaking the rules of this Jungle would indeed be quite easy. But if, at that ti, the Deity had other plans and directly used Zhou Tian as a sacrificial lamb, then while the Deity might indeed succeed in escaping, Zhou Tian himself would likely face a tragic end.

Clearly, as long as there was even the slightest chance of such a scenario happening, Zhou Tian would never let it occur. After all, Zhou Tian’s original intent was rely self-preservation; if he sacrificed himself to rescue the Deity or destroy the Jungle, wouldn’t that be turning his priorities upside-down?

Therefore, given the circumstances at the ti, although Zhou Tian had once considered the idea of releasing the Deity, he had never intended to directly interact with it.

To avoid being exploited, Zhou Tian could release the Deity; however, he would absolutely not dare to engage with it. As long as the Deity was released, and Zhou Tian could manage to escape successfully, he had no intention of getting entangled in any unnecessary trouble.

Unfortunately, trouble didn’t disappear just because Zhou Tian wanted to avoid it. In fact, from the mont Zhou Tian stepped into this Jungle, his involvent with either one of the two opposing Deity factions had already been sealed as inevitable.

Currently, Zhou Tian intended to use the Deity to achieve his escape, but the powerful Deity also had its own plans. Under these conditions, although Zhou Tian’s activities in the Outside World did provide him with so help, it was clear that the Deity wasn’t content with letting things continue that way.

Even if Zhou Tian caused chaos in the Outside World to the point of potentially releasing the Deity, the inefficiency of Zhou Tian’s actions made it uncertain how long it might take. anwhile, any disruptions during this process—such as Zhou Tian’s enemies gaining knowledge of his actions or Zhou Tian’s death—would destroy the Deity’s hope of escape.

To be sure, Zhou Tian had only been trapped for a short ti, yet he resorted to every conceivable asure to get out. So it wasn’t hard to imagine how desperate the long-imprisoned Deity was to break free from the Sealing. Any factor that might hinder its escape was sothing the Deity would not tolerate. Therefore, when Zhou Tian, the Deity’s External Force aiding its escape, faced the possibility of destruction, the Deity was not about to stay indifferent.

To put it simply, given the circumstances, the Deity only had two options. One was to diligently ensure Zhou Tian’s safety and prevent him from dying within the Jungle at all costs. The other was to push Zhou Tian to release it as quickly as possible, since only after escaping would Zhou Tian’s value to the Deity diminish.

Thus, given the situation at the ti, Zhou Tian’s own thoughts beca irrelevant—the important thing was that the Deity wanted Zhou Tian to expedite its release. Under these circumstances, even if Zhou Tian didn’t want to follow its arrangents, the Deity would undoubtedly find a way to make him “listen.”

In truth, the Deity had always refrained from exploiting other Deities who stumbled into the Jungle—not because it didn’t want to, but rather because it lacked the ans to do so.

Now, however, thanks to Zhou Tian’s actions weakening the Sealing’s strength, whether or not this weakening could continue indefinitely was irrelevant. At least at this mont, with the Sealing’s power having diminished, the Deity seed to have gained so leverage to act.

Initially, due to not knowing Zhou Tian’s identity, the Deity actively reached out to him, hoping Zhou Tian would voluntarily follow its instructions.

Unfortunately, Zhou Tian wasn’t truly there to rescue the Deity. Their relationship, at best, was defined by mutual exploitation. Under such circumstances, no matter how much the Deity commanded Zhou Tian, if Zhou Tian was unwilling to comply, no amount of orders could aid in the Deity’s escape.

When the Deity realized Zhou Tian wasn’t obeying its orders, it stopped transmitting its voice to him altogether.

From the beginning, Zhou Tian was already showing resistance. If the Deity made further requests down the line, it knew Zhou Tian was unlikely to comply. Under such circumstances, knowing full well Zhou Tian wouldn’t “listen,” the Deity wasn’t going to waste its breath on him.

That said, although the Deity ceased communication with Zhou Tian at the ti, it didn’t an it had abandoned the idea of exploiting him. In truth, for the sake of escaping, there were few lengths the Deity wouldn’t go to. In the given situation, since Zhou Tian refused to follow orders, the Deity had no qualms about using other thods to exploit its “benefactor.”
