Chapter 1788: Chapter 624

The environnt alone can directly determine the impact of the sa loss on a particular faction.

If this were in the Lower Realm, and so many Deities were mobilized to deal with Zhou Tian, perhaps any faction would need to carefully consider whether their decision was worthwhile. After all, Deities in the Lower Realm are far too scarce, and bearing such losses to fight an enemy like Zhou Tian—this is not a decision that most people can make lightly.

However, if the sa situation were placed in the Divine Realm, then at that ti, the command given by the leading Deities didn’t appear abrupt at all.

This is because the Divine Realm is not comparable to the Lower Realm. In the Lower Realm, no faction would give such an order simply because the Lower Realm doesn’t possess as many Deities. If it weren’t for this very reason, it’s estimated that those factions, when dealing with their enemies, wouldn’t take losses into such careful consideration. But in the Divine Realm, similar losses are entirely insufficient to cause any significant impact on a faction.

What place is the Divine Realm? It’s the endpoint of all Lower Realms. Deities, rare sights in the Lower Realm, are reduced to re Civilian Level beings upon arriving in the Divine Realm.

Thus, while losses of the sa magnitude might be unbearable for an average faction in the Lower Realm, if placed in the Divine Realm, any faction with even a shred of strength likely wouldn’t give such minor losses a second thought. Because even if scores of ordinary Deities die, the leading Deities during that period can quickly summon new mbers in an extrely short amount of ti.

Even though newly recruited mbers certainly wouldn’t be as capable as the older ones, compared to those losses, the prospect of eliminating the formidable enemy Zhou Tian is undoubtedly far more appealing to those Deities.

Without question, if Zhou Tian could be taken down, those leading Deities wouldn’t hesitate to disregard the lives of their ordinary Deities under any circumstances.

Yet, even faced with such a situation at the ti, none of the leading Deities dared to personally act against Zhou Tian. If participation were entirely voluntary, surely no single Deity would have willingly stepped forward to confront Zhou Tian then.

However, the reasoning behind Zhou Tian’s initial refusal to join any Divine Realm factions applies here. Upon joining a faction, while Deities gain a backing and can rely on it when encountering enemies under ordinary circumstances, they also receive access to information and supplies they otherwise couldn’t obtain on their own. But at the sa ti, by receiving all of those benefits, Deities who join factions are inevitably subjected to prohibitions imposed by the leading Deities.

Thus, even though those Deities clearly knew that confronting Zhou Tian at that mont would assuredly lead to death, they still had no choice but to act in that way. Because their lives were no longer their own—they no longer had control. Though confronting Zhou Tian carried no shortage of risk, they were not entirely devoid of vitality either. On the contrary, if they refused to confront Zhou Tian, there was no need for Zhou Tian to take action—they wouldn’t survive for long under the tactics of their leaders. It’s estimated that a single thought from those leaders would suffice to silently end the lives of those ordinary Deities.

Thus, whether Zhou Tian or those ordinary Deities were willing or not, once those leading Deities committed themselves to that course of action, Zhou Tian and the ordinary Deities inevitably faced an inescapable battle.

In truth, after Zhou Tian’s multiple failed attempts to break out and as those ordinary Deities began surrounding him, it did not take long for the internal mbers of that Deity faction to launch an encirclent operation centered on Zhou Tian after receiving the orders of the leading Deities.

Clearly, Zhou Tian didn’t want to confront such a situation. However, unfortunately, by the ti events progressed to this point, things were already out of Zhou Tian’s control. With those leading Deities intent on pursuing him, Zhou Tian, at that mont, seed to have no choice but to face the battle head-on.

As a result, once the Deities encircled him, Zhou Tian quickly suffered so losses at their hands.

Although in terms of individual strength, the ordinary Deities at the ti couldn’t even compare to their own leaders, let alone match Zhou Tian, whose strength exceeded their leaders. It was clear, however, that the outco of the battle wasn’t determined by individual strength.

Despite Zhou Tian’s considerable prowess, he understood that if he were to engage in a hard fight against those Deities, achieving ultimate victory seed challenging from any perspective at the ti.

The reasoning was simple: while Zhou Tian’s individual strength far surpassed those Deities, they could join forces against him. When the Deities combined their abilities, the threat posed to Zhou Tian multiplied several tis over. Under those circumstances, no matter how strong Zhou Tian was, the odds of him overcoming such a large group of Deities at once appeared slim.

There was no need for overly complex combat strategies—once the Deities unleashed their collective abilities, Zhou Tian imdiately fell into a disadvantage.

Despite Zhou Tian’s cultivation level being exceptionally high and his Ti Ability extraordinary, neither was sufficient for him to take on ten, let alone a hundred, opponents simultaneously. No matter how strong Zhou Tian’s cultivation level might be, while fighting a few ordinary Deities would be manageable, when surrounded by so many, and when those Deities collectively deployed their rule-based abilities, Zhou Tian, no matter how much effort he exerted, seed entirely incapable of gaining even the slightest advantage in their clash of rules.
