It might be, as in Zhou Tian’s last experience, that the so-called trap is rely a sealing, or it might be an arrangent left behind by certain deities who wish to remain unseen. In fact, so dangerous situations might simply be naturally occurring phenona within the Divine Realm.
Once such situations arise due to various reasons, deities entering them might encounter corresponding dangers. However, aside from an increase in personal experience, it is hard to predict what one might gain after the event has concluded.
Perhaps, as in Zhou Tian’s previous experience, he might gain so ‘unexpected gifts’ and the camaraderie of other powerful beings. Or perhaps there truly might be so hidden treasure within the perilous domain.
Yet, just as there are cases where benefits can be obtained after enduring danger, the end of a perilous quest does not necessarily guarantee rewards.
If one’s luck and strength are insufficient, it is possible to lose one’s life amidst the dangers of a perilous domain before the event concludes. Even if one manages to survive, the deities within such domains are not guaranteed to obtain the gains they desire.
It is precisely because entering dangerous situations carries significant risk without guaranteed rewards that, once certain territories are recognized as perilous regions, most deities passing by those areas will naturally or intentionally choose to avoid them in the future.
No one is inferior to anyone else. If Zhou Tian is willing to take risks to enhance his power, why wouldn’t other deities in the Divine Realm share that sa resolve?
In reality, living beings willing to risk danger in pursuit of strength exist in every world.
And if it becos certain that a perilous domain contains treasures, then without a doubt, even if it is known that entering such a domain would an facing a near-certain death, any deity who covets those treasures would likely swarm towards it when the ti cos!
