Just one blood monkey had been hard to handle, but now facing several at once, Zhou Tian knew he didn’t have the absolute confidence to prevail, even after gaining so information about them and realizing they weren’t as powerful as he feared.
Such blood monkeys had bizarre abilities, akin to assassins. Even powerful beings would not dare ignore their threat. Additionally, Zhou Tian’s strength wasn’t exceptionally great; handling such blood monkeys alone was taxing. Moreover, he couldn’t be sure if other living beings would attack him in that environnt, leaving Zhou Tian uneasy.
Zhou Tian truly regretted it. He hadn’t anticipated this situation in the gorge before, which was why he hadn’t left. Had he known earlier, Zhou Tian wouldn’t have stayed in the gorge.

Judging by the blood monkeys’ abilities, if they didn’t intend to let Zhou Tian go, escaping their blockade would be extrely challenging for him.
More so, the gorge didn’t just contain Zhou Tian and the blood monkeys. Leaving before might have been manageable, but now, exposed to those living beings’ line of sight, any attempt to leave could invite nurous attacks.
Zhou Tian thought about trying to dash out of the gorge, but considering the consequences, he eventually dismissed the idea.
