187: Chapter 187: Target 187: Chapter 187: Target “Just as I thought!” Seeing most of his beastn slaughtered by those NPCs, Zhou Tian was furious but not surprised.

After all, he was well aware of how strong those NPCs were.

His hands were tied in defiance against the Blood Moon Lord, so he had no choice but to march with a group of weak cannon fodder.

As cannon fodder, even if all of them were killed by the NPCs, Zhou Tian wouldn’t utter a word.

With this in mind, as soon as he saw that his side had no chance of winning, Zhou Tian, without hesitation, used the ability of his Teleportation Ring to disappear from the spot.

None of the NPCs noticed Zhou Tian’s disappearance.

With so many monsters present, even though Zhou Tian was a boss, he was no more than an unremarkable character in the current battlefield.

In such a situation, when Zhou Tian left, the NPCs were busy fighting other monsters, and never noticed him.

As a result of the NPCs’ lack of attention, Zhou Tian easily excused himself from the combat.

After avoiding the fighting NPCs, Zhou Tian naturally ca up with a new strategy.

Before entering White Tiger City, Zhou Tian already had a plan.

Now, although his experience after entering the city was a bit off from what he initially anticipated, he still believed that proceeding with his plan at this point would likely prove successful.

Hence, under these circumstances, Zhou Tian easily initiated his previous plan.

Having experienced the strength of the NPCs, Zhou Tian understood that if he were to confront these NPCs head-on, even the weakest of them could match his strength.

Under these circumstances, Zhou Tian had no chance of winning against these NPCs.

Therefore, in the following ti, whenever Zhou Tian encountered an NPC, he didn’t attack.

Most of the ti when he encountered an NPC, he managed to dodge their attacks at the last mont.

Due to the large number of monsters invading at that ti, even though Zhou Tian’s performance was exceptional, it still failed to catch the NPCs’ attention.

So, while the NPCs were busy fighting other monsters, they didn’t notice that one of the monsters they had dismissed was slowly moving away from the battlefield.

For Zhou Tian, the benefits of a siege were not particularly promising.

For ordinary monsters, their primary interest would be to kill the NPCs and players.

Normally, it would be difficult for them to encounter players and NPCs in their territories, but during a monster siege, as long as they could kill a significant number of players and NPCs, they could improve their strength, an opportunity they would rarely have under normal circumstances.

However, Zhou Tian’s situation was sowhat unique.

Firstly, although Zhou Tian did pose a threat to those NPCs, it was exceedingly difficult for him to kill those NPCs when there was a level difference of several tens.

Therefore, while Zhou Tian might have gained so advantage during a regular monster siege, he definitely lacked the ability to participate in this high-end siege.

Moreover, Zhou Tian has a special ability to bridge the gap between players and monsters.

Usually, by using such tactics, he could easily attract a large number of players to kill.

Therefore, opportunities that other monsters might find challenging to co by are of no interest to Zhou Tian.

Of course, while combat may not be appealing to Zhou Tian, it doesn’t an there aren’t other opportunities for him to gain so benefit from such a siege.

For instance, Zhou Tian had set his sights on the supplies within White Tiger City right from the start.

Generally, the equipnt and supplies used by players, NPCs, and monsters are not interchangeable.

Even if one faction kills the other two, they usually can’t get their hands on the others’ things.

However, there are so exceptions.

If two factions trade, most items can be passed between them.

Besides trading, another common way for factions to obtain items from the other two is through siege warfare, as far as Zhou Tian knew.

He didn’t know whether it was because so many NPCs and monsters had gathered for the siege, causing the world rules to have so difficulty operating in this area.

But in siege warfare, as long as the monsters have a way, they can plunder the items from the NPC city without losing them due to the different faction stances.

During this limited ti, whether it is player artifacts in the shops or NPC artifacts in residential houses, as long as a monster like Zhou Tian can loot them, they can take them away.

After Zhou Tian beca aware of this situation, he had his mind set on it.

It wouldn’t affect anything if the monsters didn’t loot the players’ and NPCs’ stuff, but in so respects, monsters did have a significant gap compared to the other two.

Zhou Tian found obtaining the resources required to upgrade his catapult quite challenging within the Monster Camp, but these materials are common within the NPC faction.

Therefore, Zhou Tian wasn’t very interested in the equipnt artifacts of the NPCs and players.

However, he had his sights set on the supplies stored by the NPC faction.

He even brought a few small spatial tools from the Beastman Tribe for this operation.

Although he couldn’t clear out all the supplies from White Tiger City in one go, Zhou Tian believed that if his plan succeeded, he probably wouldn’t have to worry about the supplies needed to upgrade the catapult for a long ti.

After Zhou Tian purposefully moved to the living area of White Tiger City, he quickly realized the vast differences between it and the square.

The monsters’ siege intent was to destroy the castle built by the NPCs.

To achieve this, they would need to kill a considerable part of the NPC force and occupy all their main buildings.

The living areas might be very important to players, but compared to respawn points and the imperial palace which are usually inconspicuous, they’re comparatively less important to the NPCs.

The respawn point is the target location for all player teleports.

Taking control of it would effectively stop the constant inflow of players into battle.

The imperial palace is the command center for the NPC faction; if it were to fall, the NPCs will inevitably spiral into chaos.

Hence, the monster’s choice can be said to be quite accurate.

They either don’t attack or they’ll aim for the most vital locations for the NPCs and players.

If they could occupy those two key areas, this siege battle would seem to be almost won.

As long as there were no accidents and the several Pope Level monsters also chose to join the battle, White Tiger City would undoubtedly fall.

Of course, White Tiger City isn’t easy to take.

Even if the monster’s actions were very accurate, it wouldn’t be easy for them to achieve victory.

Regardless of whether the monsters could achieve the final victory, since they had such a plan in mind, they naturally didn’t pay too much attention to the other areas in White Tiger City.

In the end, the monsters that were teleported in were fighting fierily near the key White Tiger buildings along with the NPCs and players.

However, when Zhou Tian entered the living area, although there were so monsters there, their numbers were quite limited.
