For anyone capable of becoming a Heavenly God, none are fools. Initially, they hadn’t thought much of it, but with the appearance of Zhou Tian, those Deities quickly realized they were likely caught in Zhou Tian’s trap, and estimated they were surrounded by Zhou Tian’s Deities.
Undoubtedly, the more those Deities understood their situation, the worse their expressions beca. They were already no match for Zhou Tian. In that scenario, they found themselves caught in Zhou Tian’s plot, and having fallen into Zhou Tian’s trap, they realized any escape routes were effectively cut off for them.
Of course, even after realizing this, the great blow didn’t stop those Deities from resisting. Though they suffered a major setback, it wasn’t enough to make them give up resistant efforts.
Those Deities were well aware of the implications of their actions. Regardless of who was in Zhou Tian’s position, the actions of the Deities at that mont would inevitably lead to their demise. Thus, whether they resisted or not, as long as Zhou Tian erged victorious, none of them had any possibility of survival.
Since choosing not to resist led to a definite dead end, even with Zhou Tian’s overwhelming power, those Deities were still prepared to put up a fight.
Clearly, Zhou Tian’s power vastly exceeded that of the Deities. Given this disparity, attempting to escape from him was no easy feat, no matter who tried it.
But, even knowing that the hope of success was slim, they at least had a glimr of hope if they tried sothing, as opposed to certain doom if they did nothing.
Without hesitation, whether or not they thought this was all rely Zhou Tian’s trap, at the mont Zhou Tian appeared, despite their severe injuries, those Deities uniformly used their life-saving capabilities to react and attempt to flee.
No Deity believed they could stand against Zhou Tian. Even if they took resistant actions, they could predict that should they attack Zhou Tian, one counterattack could easily eliminate them. Attacking Zhou Tian under those circumstances was akin to seeking their own doom.
Given that attacking Zhou Tian was dood to fail, the decision to flee beca their most logical reaction.
Was it truly impossible to escape Zhou Tian’s grip?
Clearly, given Zhou Tian’s power, escaping, even with their trump card abilities, was exceedingly difficult, especially when they were heavily injured. Any small chance of escape diminished further to nigh impossibility.
However, compared to engaging in combat with Zhou Tian, resulting in certain death, even a slim chance of survival made retreat the wise choice for those Deities.
Under normal circumstances, had the Deities decisively chosen to flee, it wasn’t out of the question that Zhou Tian might fail to capture one or two, especially given their confidence and hidden trump cards that allowed them to slip away from True God inattention.
Unfortunately, as their current predicant was crafted by Zhou Tian as a trap, under Zhou Tian’s preparation, it was exceedingly difficult for the Deities to escape, regardless of their reactions.
Daring to make such a deploynt, Zhou Tian was confident he could capture them. As the Deities collectively prepared to flee, Zhou Tian didn’t rush to stop them but rather, as if nothing happened, allowed them to try escaping by their tactics.

“What’s happening?”
“No good, this place’s space is imprisoned.”

Only when they tried using their abilities did those Deities realize sothing was amiss. No matter how they struggled, with Zhou Tian’s preparation, they found their trump cards couldn’t help them escape the area. Upon realizing this, despite unwillingness, the Deities had to admit that under Zhou Tian’s arrangents, they were inevitably going to fail.
“Capture them!” Naturally, Zhou Tian wouldn’t be lenient on those Deities. Having brought things to this stage, there was no way he’d let them off at the last mont.
