Chapter 2358: Chapter 764_4
As a result, whether Zhou Tian’s attack at that ti could take the life of that True God or not, after all, when that series of attacks from Zhou Tian landed, the True God ended up with a bruised and battered appearance.
Given the situation at the ti, Zhou Tian could basically be said to have won.
Now, at this mont, it remained to be seen how Zhou Tian would deal with that True God. If he wished, he only needed to land a few more punches to kill that True God. If he wanted to spare him, he could stop now. As for forcing the True God to defect, it was not out of the question for Zhou Tian.
However…
Theoretically, being in Zhou Tian’s situation at that ti, the most valuable choice was undoubtedly to force the True God to defect. After all, the combat power of a True God was not weak, and if Zhou Tian could subjugate that True God, although his own strength would not change much, his forces would certainly grow stronger.
Most forces would hope to do so, after all, even in the Divine Realm, True Gods are rare and strong. Being able to acquire one would increase strength. Although Zhou Tian’s strength was stronger than a general True God, gaining support from more True Gods would be quite beneficial for his developnt.
However, despite saying so, Zhou Tian ultimately made an unexpectedly different decision.
From the perspective of benefits, Zhou Tian should have directly subjugated that True God. But for other True Gods, subjugating a peer is a great gain, yet for Zhou Tian, the existence of the True God level was not sothing he even considered noteworthy.
Previously, Zhou Tian had a large amount of deityhood in hand, and although he consud most of the deityhood that was useful to him, he still kept so deityhoods that did not aid him much. In that situation at the ti, if Zhou Tian wished, he could use those deityhoods to ‘mass-produce’ True God level thugs at any ti.
And compared to subjugating a True God by coercion, a True God cultivated by Zhou Tian himself was naturally more reliable.
Theoretically, after Zhou Tian subjugates this True God, he would certainly manipulate him. In such a case, this True God’s potential betrayal of Zhou Tian would be exceedingly unlikely.
It could even be said directly that unless a Divine King level being takes action, once Zhou Tian accepts that True God, he would arguably be unable to resist Zhou Tian’s rule.
However, the problem at the mont was that Zhou Tian indeed offended a Divine King, though it seed unlikely. But if in future combat, the Divine King did take action, it would not be impossible for him to remove the prohibition placed on the True God. If that day ca, how would Zhou Tian handle himself?
The more resources invested into that True God, the more the True God’s power would grow, the greater the conceivable loss Zhou Tian would face if that True God betrayed him in the future. Such loss was naturally sothing Zhou Tian was unwilling to endure.
Not investing resources in that True God was also problematic. Firstly, the True God’s power was not much useful to Zhou Tian. If his power was not increased, then Zhou Tian might as well not subjugate him. Secondly, if Zhou Tian continuously suppressed his growth, offering no benefits for defecting to him, no matter how strong Zhou Tian was, the True God would likely harbor resentnt. At that point, even if the Divine King did not actively contact this True God, he would likely still engage in minor actions behind the scenes.
Thus, keeping that Divine King was harmful and unhelpful to Zhou Tian, and Zhou Tian naturally did not consider letting him go.
As a result… (To be continued. If you like this work, please visit qidian to vote for recomndations and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please read at m.qidian.)
