The concept of the strong ruling over the weak is universal in any world, and Paradise is no exception.
Thus, if the Light God King were not so forceful in his thods upon arriving in Paradise, although the angels under his rule might not be as useful now, over ti it’s likely there wouldn’t be as many willing to resist him.
