The human race’s leadership naturally hoped that the Peaceful Angels could help them defeat those Beastn. After all, although the crisis had been resolved for now, the strength of the Beastman Tribe was still there. Even with the help of Angels, which changed the situation that seed dood to defeat for the human race, they were still not content with their current gains.
Of course, avoiding annihilation was the best outco, but if they could directly eliminate the Beastman Tribe, the allure for the human race’s leadership at the ti would be extraordinary.
In fact, they could outright say that if there was hope to annihilate the Beastman Tribe in one stroke right now, the human race’s leadership would not give it up at any cost.
However...
From the human race’s leadership’s position, they naturally hoped to annihilate the Beastman Tribe in one stroke. But the problem at hand was that without the Angels’ help, achieving that was an impossibility.
Though they were unwilling to admit it, the human leadership was well aware in their hearts that they truly owed their safety to the Angels’ help this ti. They turned a crisis into a peaceful situation. It’s safe to say that if the Angels hadn’t cared for them this ti, with the state of affairs at the ti, even if they weren’t annexed by the Beastman Tribe, they would have ended up severely weakened.
The human race’s strength was originally far inferior to the Beastman Tribe. If their strength were to be significantly damaged due to this battle, the future awaiting them would be imaginable.
Even so, while the Angels’ help has currently neutralized the threat of the Beastman large army to the human camp, the situation of the human race itself is such that, no matter how poor the Beastman Tribe’s situation is, the human army in the vicinity also lacks the ability to counterattack. Because compared to those Beastn, the human race’s situation isn’t much better.
Of course, if the Angels were to take action with full strength at that ti, they could not only heavily damage the Beastman large army but also have the ability to annihilate them completely.
However, although Zhou Tian’s Angels indeed possessed such strength at that ti, the problem lay in the fact that they had no reason to conduct themselves in that manner.
The reason the Angels acted against the Beastman large army at that ti was not actually out of a heartfelt desire to help the human race. The true reason for their action was simply that they didn’t want to see the extinction of the human race. If the human race hadn’t been so inept, imdiately falling to a disadvantage when facing the Beastn, even if the Angels wanted to assist, they couldn’t have acted so swiftly.
Given the circumstances, although the Angels helped the human race, they had no intention of becoming thugs for them. So, even though the human leadership hoped the Angels would help them eliminate the Beastn at that ti, the Angels had no intention of doing so.
The human race’s leadership felt a sense of helplessness in response to the Angels’ reaction at the ti.
If, at that mont, the victory over the Beastman large army had been due to their own strength, there would have been no need to say anything. The human leadership would have instantly ordered a pursuit. Regardless of whether the objective could finally be achieved, given the human leadership’s mindset, they would undoubtedly have attempted to see if they could keep all those Beastn at that ti.
But now, the human race’s ability to turn the tide depended on the strength of the Angels. And the Angels, from all aspects, were not a faction belonging to the human race’s internal forces. Thus, while the Angels seed to be mbers of the human camp, it’s not just that the human leadership wasn’t in harmony with them, but even if they wanted to order those Angels to go to battle, it was highly unlikely that those Angels would pay them any heed.
Thus, given the situation at the ti, even though the opportunity for a decisive strike was right in front of the human leadership, because they couldn’t control the Angels, they had no choice but to watch that opportunity slip away.
The human leadership certainly felt unhappy with the situation at that ti. At the very least, even though the Angels had saved them, given that they missed the opportunity due to the Angels, they must have sensed a discord between the Angels and themselves. In such circumstances, if possible, the humans would not hold back against the Angels in the future.
However, leaving aside how future relations between the Angels and the human race might turn out, for the ti being, despite how unhappy the human leadership was at that mont, they still had to act courteously towards the Angels openly.
No matter what, the fact that the Angels saved the human race was undeniable. The losses incurred to the human race from the Angels’ reactions are a different matter. While not every mber of the human race may have been aware of this, the high levels of the human race dared not show disrespect to the Angels. Because, not only would the people of the human race not forgive them, but the Angels’ own response also couldn’t be ignored at that ti.
