A Hellhound dealing with a few ordinary adults wouldn’t pose much of a problem. As a result, under those circumstances, upon receiving the order from the young beggar, the Hellhound rcilessly tore those few beggars into pieces.
Watching as the Hellhound eliminated those beggars, even devouring their souls, the young beggar’s complexion did improve slightly at that mont. However, whenever his gaze shifted to his sister’s corpse, traces of sadness still inevitably appeared on his face.
The young beggar didn’t notice, but as he was intensely staring at his sister’s corpse, the Hellhound, reveling in devouring the souls, suddenly paused, then stood up after glancing at the young beggar.
"Just soone dead, what’s the big deal? As my contract holder, if this is all you’re capable of, then I might regret my previous choice."
"Damn you, say that again and I’ll kill you."
"Though you’re my contract holder, you don’t have the ability to kill ; we are equals, don’t treat like your pet. Moreover, I wasn’t wrong. As a contact for our Abyss World, you, as a Warlock, should be adept in the power of Death. It’s just a recently deceased girl; if your strength were sufficient, resurrecting her would be a trivial matter."
Initially, under the blow of his sister’s death, the young beggar, in a foul mood, imdiately turned hostile upon hearing the Hellhound’s words. If it weren’t for the fact that most of his combat power resided in the Hellhound, unable to attack it right then, he might have initiated an attack against the creature.
However, while initially the young beggar felt like sealing the Hellhound’s mouth shut, upon hearing that it was possible to resurrect his sister, his face suddenly changed. Not saying a word further, he knelt down in front of the Hellhound.
"Teach the thod to bring my sister back!"
"Tch!" Though Zhou Tian didn’t intentionally influence things, in reality, the Abyssal creatures were almost as Zhou Tian understood, with nearly half the mbers being incredibly selfish. Although they desire familial love, friendship, even romantic love, when their own benefits are concerned, they often can’t resist acts of betrayal.
Because they desire but cannot obtain, the Abyss World looks down upon people like the young beggar. Assuming they could, viewing the beggar’s performance, even if there existed a thod to save that girl, it’s likely the Hellhound would still refuse to disclose it.
But unfortunately, despite conversing with the young beggar, the Hellhound knew only too well that everything it was doing was beyond its control. Thus, no matter how much it despised the young beggar, it nonetheless had to inform him of so things.
"If your strength were adequate, you could resurrect your sister directly after preparing the necessary ritual materials. However, you’ve just beco a Warlock, so gathering those materials imdiately is unlikely. Therefore, directly resurrecting your sister is impossible. But if you’re willing, I do have a thod to bring her back to life, but..."
"But what? As long as my sister cos back, I agree to any conditions!"
"In the current situation, you can only let your sister transform into an Abyssal creature. With her flesh body already dead, just send her into the Abyss World, and as long as you’re willing to pay the cost, transforming her into an Angel is achievable. However, if you choose to do this, then your sister will have to leave this world. Just as I cannot remain here for long, this world constantly repels us Abyssal creatures. Therefore, unless the Abyss World annexes this world, or unless you coincidentally establish a contract with her to summon her briefly, it’s likely you siblings will have no chance to et again for life."
"What?"
Upon hearing the Hellhound’s words, even prepared, the young beggar couldn’t resist exclaiming in surprise. In his mind, reviving his sister at any cost was the aim, but hadn’t anticipated that the cost of reviving her would be this. Just considering the future inability to see his sister again left the young beggar’s mood incapable of calming.
However, although the situation prevented the young beggar from calming down, ultimately he made his choice. Compared to Death, according to the Hellhound’s words, he could still have his sister alive. Though she loses her Human Race identity, given the beggar’s experiences, he hardly cared about Human Race identity.
Thus, after a brief hesitation, the young beggar addressed the Hellhound directly: "Alright, let my sister reincarnate into the Abyss World then. But I hope she reincarnates into a peaceful race; I don’t want her to suffer any further hardships."
