So it was no surprise that when Zhou Tian returned to the Abyss World, he imdiately discovered that the strength of the Divine Realm’s power system within the Abyss World had suddenly increased trendously. The rule-based abilities that originally couldn’t display their full might in the Abyss World beca powerful all at once.
Moreover, as the Divine Realm’s consciousness began to slowly affect the power system within the Abyss World, the Divine Realm directly launched an invasion war against the Abyss World.
Though at the ti the Divine Realm inherently had a very high chance of annexing the Abyss World, obviously the Divine Realm didn’t want the Abyss World to exist for that long. Thus, in line with the Divine Realm’s intentions at that ti, it was no surprise that they initiated an invasion war.
If the Divine Realm’s deities could completely conquer the Abyss World, then no matter how the Abyss World resisted, with the Divine Realm’s power, the Divine Realm consciousness could easily annex the Abyss World consciousness. In this way, by actively attacking the Abyss World, they naturally annexed it.
Undoubtedly, although it required quite a bit of energy and deities, once truly enraged, considering the Divine Realm’s foundation, when dealing with the Abyss World, the Divine Realm consciousness didn’t consider consumption issues. As long as such thoughts arose in their mind, and they believed there was no problem with their thoughts, realizing them wasn’t anything people couldn’t accept.
As expected, no accidents occurred; once the Divine Realm consciousness had the idea to directly conquer the Abyss World, innurable deities within the Divine Realm quickly learned of several spatial passages due to various reasons. Afterward, several forces within the Divine Realm, which could by no ans be considered small, launched an attack on the Abyss World under the control of the Divine Realm consciousness, as if they knew the enormous benefits of conquering the Abyss World.
Although the Divine Realm consciousness hadn’t exerted much effort in controlling those King-level forces, just relying on those seemingly weak Divine Realm forces, when they launched a full-strength attack against the Abyss World, they were already forming a significant threat against it at the ti. After all, regardless, the Abyss World had potential, but at best, it was only a dium world at the ti.
In terms of aggressiveness, the Abyss World was stronger than most worlds. But no matter how aggressive, given its conditions at the ti, facing an attack from the Divine Realm was by no ans easy.
Though the abyssal creatures might not be weaker than the Divine Realm deities at the ti, the biggest problem was, how many deities did the Divine Realm have? And how many abyssal creatures did Zhou Tian have?
Even if Zhou Tian’s abyssal creatures indeed possessed the combat power to confront the deities, if a full-blown war broke out and Zhou Tian lost even a single abyssal creature, their combat power would decrease, while the Divine Realm could easily summon billions of large armies. Under such circumstances, even if the sheer quality of the Abyss World’s residents weren’t inferior to the Divine Realm, they were dood to be never the match because of the vast difference in quantity.
Thus, as the Divine Realm consciousness initiated that action, Zhou Tian imdiately realized that if this war continued, he might have the ability to battle the Divine Realm initially, but as ti passed, no matter how diligently the Abyss World fought, it was inevitable that the Divine Realm would break through its defense in the battle later stages.
If possible, Zhou Tian hoped not to see such a situation arise, but at least at that mont, he hadn’t found any hope to resolve this problem.
However, even knowing that in this war of attrition the Abyss World couldn’t be a match for the Divine Realm, when the Divine Realm launched its invasion war, Zhou Tian couldn’t possibly just sit back and do nothing. So whether there would be a future solution for this danger was another matter; at that mont, facing the Divine Realm’s threat, Zhou Tian’s only option was to resist with all his strength.
The Abyss World might face defeat in the future, but given its current strength, blocking the Divine Realm’s invasion early on was possible. As long as the invasion could be blocked initially, Zhou Tian could buy so ti. With sufficient ti, maybe things would change, and even if the situation didn’t change, with enough ti for contemplation, perhaps Zhou Tian could find a way to resolve the problem.
Thus, since such thoughts were born, despite fearing the Divine Realm’s invasion, ultimately, he did not fear the battle.
Hence, given the situation at the ti, when the Divine Realm’s large army invaded the Abyss World directly, Zhou Tian didn’t give up due to the formidable enemies. Instead, when those deities invaded his Territory, he decided to engage in battle.
"Kill!"
Though the Abyss World wasn’t an opponent for the Divine Realm at that mont, Zhou Tian’s abyssal creatures knew nothing of it. Until the mont they died in combat, perhaps Zhou Tian’s abyssal creatures still believed they were fighting a faction of the Divine Realm. Because of this reason, even though there was a substantial gap in power, Zhou Tian’s abyssal creatures nevertheless did not resist Zhou Tian’s orders.
Thus, when Zhou Tian placed a certain bet, promising his abyssal creatures enough rewards for killing deities, they were not concerned about clashing with the deities.
Even during the initial combat, Zhou Tian’s side enjoyed so advantage. After all, the invading deities only acted due to the Divine Realm consciousness influence, and the invasion itself didn’t bring them substantial benefits. Thus, even though the Divine Realm had strength advantages, the deities were not particularly enthusiastic about invading the Abyss World.
Conversely, to confront the Divine Realm, Zhou Tian offered high stakes; basically, killing a few deities could trendously enhance the abyssal creatures’ strength. With such generous conditions presented, even if they had no idea who the enemy was, Zhou Tian’s abyssal creatures didn’t show leniency facing the deities.
So, while one side had no will to fight, the other saw the enemy as a ans to enhance their strength, it was clear that Zhou Tian’s abyssal creatures were far more battle-ready. Thus, not to ntion that the abyssal creatures’ strength was possibly not weaker than the deities, but even if it was, as long as the strength gap wasn’t excessively wide, there was no chance that the abyssal creatures would fail against those deities.
As a result, in that situation, due to high battle motivation, although the Abyss World’s strength was far less than the Divine Realm, once they fought, Zhou Tian’s abyssal creatures managed to suppress those deities. Assuming such a Battle Situation could be maintained, the threat those deities posed to the Abyss World would diminish.
Of course, theoretically, that was the case, but Zhou Tian and the Divine Realm consciousness understood that despite the abyssal creatures seeming to have the Upper Hand, if the war continued, the abyssal creatures might win early but inevitably face Defeat later.
The foundation of both sides indicated that Zhou Tian was unlikely to overco the Divine Realm at that ti. After all, the number of abyssal creatures was limited, and even if they grew stronger by fighting, their numbers would keep reducing. Hence, the mbers capable of fighting the deities were few, and after dying, it would take a long ti to nurture warriors able to fight on the Battlefield. (To be continued.
