Entity 303 was chatting with Pengpeng when he caught sight of Null and the others out of the corner of his eye.

Right now, the excitent on their faces was just like elentary school kids about to go on a field trip.

It showed just how stifled they had been during this period.

Seeing this, Entity 303 laughed and said, "Go notify the Ender Queen and the others first, tell them to co over here."

"The Nether still needs soone to hold down the fort."

"As for who stays behind, you guys can work that out yourselves~"

Once Entity 303 finished, before anyone could react, he slipped away first.

Entity 303 had gotten a lot smarter too.

The Nether definitely needed people stationed there. After all, it wasn't completely safe either.

Everyone had been bottling up their feelings toward the players and the Void for a long ti. Finally finding a chance to let it all out in the open, of course nobody wanted to miss it.

Even though most things these days were being decided by Entity 303, this ti he really didn't want to be the bad guy.

Better to let them settle it internally.

By the ti they realized what was happening, Entity 303 had already run off without a trace.

"You brat!! Don't run, explain yourself clearly!!"

"I don't have any strategic brains, I can't handle command stuff, I gotta go to the Overworld…"

" too!!"

"Seriously, who taught you this? However we discuss it, nobody wants to stay behind!!"

"..."

There was no doubt everyone wanted to go to the Overworld and vent their pent-up feelings properly.

They looked at each other, back and forth, for a long ti, but nobody was willing to step up and stay.

The Dread Lord saw this and couldn't help letting out a long sigh.

"Ahhh…"

"Fine, fine, fine!!"

"If none of you want to stay, I'll stay, alright?"

"I and the Dragon Prophet, these two old geezers, will hold the Nether…"

"You all go raise hell in the Overworld!"

The Dread Lord, being older and more experienced, naturally put the bigger picture first.

And deep down, he knew perfectly well.

The Nether's entire strategic plan was laid out by him. He was the one coordinating with the refugee village kings, animals, mobs, and players in the Nether.

There was no way he could leave.

The Dragon Prophet was always steady and cautious, most likely, he wouldn't want to join the ruckus either.

So the two of them staying behind was the best choice.

When the Dread Lord volunteered, everyone let out a sigh of relief.

"Exactly, the Nether can't do without a strategist like you!!"

"With you and the Dragon Prophet here, the Nether's solid! Now we can relax!!"

"I won't even bother flattering you anymore, whatever's ant for you to kill, I'll do it for you!!!"

"..."

Hearing their flattery, the Dread Lord couldn't help rolling his eyes.

"Scram, scram, scram."

"Keep it in check. Even though Pengpeng's steering the public opinion, you all gotta act like it, don't slip up."

Seeing the Dread Lord step up, everyone was overjoyed.

They imdiately crowded eagerly around Pengpeng.

"Quick, quick, quick! Assign a player!!"

"This ti give a smart one! The last one talked too much, drove nuts!"

"Since we're making requests, uh… cough cough… give a girl player…"

With everyone swarming him at once, Pengpeng got a bit of a headache.

"Wasn't I supposed to be at the kiddie table? What kind of kiddie table has this many tasks…"

Kiddie table or not, Pengpeng's workload was without a doubt the heaviest.

First he had to assign everyone their suitable enhanced Wither GPS locators (players).

Then he had to keep track of ti to contact Black Knife.

He also had to constantly monitor the forums, steering the direction of public opinion.

And later he'd even need to reach out to Rookie.

Thinking of all that, Pengpeng let out a long sigh.

"Worker's soul, worker's pride, workers are the real top dogs!!"

After feeding himself a dose of toxic chicken soup, Pengpeng quickly snapped back into work mode.

"Stand in line! Line up properly! One by one!"

"Otherwise I'm not giving you your human GPS locator systems!"

———

After logging off, Rookie imdiately left the office and headed straight for the executive offices of Zero Point Company.

He hadn't gone far when he ran into Old Wu head-on.

Seeing Rookie out wandering around, Old Wu was a bit surprised.

Lately, Notch had been spending most of his ti inside the ga pod, leaving Rookie alone in the office.

But even so, Rookie almost never left the office, except for bathroom breaks.

And even then, the bathrooms weren't along this route past the programr workstations, they were the opposite way.

Seeing Rookie in such a rush, clearly not just out for a stroll, Old Wu asked curiously,

"What's going on?"

Old Wu's appearance actually ca as a relief to Rookie.

The situation was urgent, and the only solution Rookie could think of was to discuss with the higher-ups, to see if the company could step in sohow.

Either by posting an official clarification, or by sending more programrs into the ga to help clean up those enhanced Withers.

That was all he could do for now.

Even though Rookie had a plan, he really didn't know how to talk to the higher-ups.

Before, most of the ti his subconscious was in control, he never cared about this stuff, and never took the initiative to approach company execs.

Even now, with his conscious mind in control, all he had was so theoretical knowledge, no real experience at all.

He didn't know how to speak with the higher-ups about this.

After all, it was basically like telling them how to do their jobs, and the execs definitely wouldn't like hearing "advice" from soone below them.

Luckily, he ran into Old Wu.

Rookie thought for a mont, then organized his words and told Old Wu about the situation in the ga world and his own ideas.

He also deliberately ntioned Entity 303.

"Mo Jiang finally got a chance to live peacefully in the ga world, found a ho, and now it's turned into this again…"

"Leaving aside the Void problem, wasn't all this caused by the company in the first place?"

"I think the company owes him compensation."

"If it can't be done in reality, then at least lend him so help in the ga."

At that, Rookie glanced at Old Wu's expression.

At first Old Wu looked surprised, even dumbfounded.

Probably because he wasn't used to Rookie suddenly acting so 'normal.'

But that surprise didn't last long, his mind was quickly drawn to what Rookie said about "Mo Jiang."

Truth be told, a "normal" Rookie in serious mode was actually kind of scary.

Because when his subconscious was in control, he could notice all the tiniest details about people.

So once he was "clear-headed," he could pinpoint exactly what mattered to soone.

It was like having God's eye view, seeing straight through people.

That's why he had deliberately ntioned Entity 303 in front of Old Wu.

Because he knew very well that deep down, Old Wu always felt a bit guilty toward Entity 303.

As a master, having his good apprentice strip him bare like this was… uncomfortable.

But Rookie's move worked. Hearing him out, Old Wu's face softened with emotion, though a trace of hesitation remained.

Of course, Rookie's sharp eyes didn't miss it.

That emotion was because Rookie's words had moved him, and he really did want the company to do sothing.

But the hesitation was because it wasn't a strong enough reason to convince the higher-ups.

Seeing this, Rookie quickly offered a counterasure.

After thinking a mont, he continued, "Even if not for Mo Jiang, shouldn't the company handle this matter anyway?"

"Otherwise the players will definitely be disappointed in the company."

"Already a lot of people are saying it, every ti sothing involving the Void cos up, the company just does nothing."

"Hurting the players' hearts like that, you're really not worried about player retention?"

Truthfully, Rookie didn't even need to say all this. Old Wu, being a seasoned company veteran, could easily co up with the right excuses to persuade the higher-ups if he wanted to.

Rookie knew that too, but with things so urgent, he didn't want to wait.

After hearing him, Old Wu frowned and stayed silent for a mont.

Then he let out a long sigh.

"That actually is a proper reason."

"Alright then, I'll go talk to the company…"

But the mont he said it, Old Wu suddenly felt sothing off.

Like that sense of being sold out but still helping count the money.

And usually, he was the one selling others.

"Wait a second…"
