The behavior of a typical Wretch is similar to that of a Skin Stealer, possessing little intelligence but astonishing strength. However, few Wretches exhibit intelligence or even human-like behavior, or are capable of crafting or wielding weapons.
The appearance of Wretches often varies greatly. Fully infected Wretches have reddish-brown skin that is dry and flaky, covered with holes and pustules, secreting a thick layer of reddish-brown substance.
Mutations are common among Wretches, often leading to dislocated eyes, dismbered or extra limbs, and even fleshy, skeletal "wings."
One common and terrifying mutation appears as a deford mass of flesh, almost entirely composed of eyes, mouths, and other orifices of unknown purpose.
Overall, these Wretches look extrely unappetizing.
The number of Entities that suddenly appeared in the darkness was extrely large; there were forty to fifty Wretches and Hounds alone, and even more Entities surged from the darkness in the distance.
