Just when Mo Jiuli could instantly exit the Illusion Realm, her heart lightened with the thought that it would not take her much longer to succeed...
Yet again, she was forcibly pulled back into another illusion, but this ti the scene was sothing Mo Jiuli had never seen or experienced before. Previously, most of the illusions were drawn from the depths of her mories, making it hard for her to distinguish reality from illusion and exit quickly...
However, the scene before her now was so unfamiliar that Mo Jiuli couldn’t help but wonder if her mother had beco absent-minded, using an illusion ant for soone else as her trial...
Even with these thoughts, Mo Jiuli remained more cautious than ever, lest she beco trapped and unable to escape, which would be disastrous!
On the screen was a thatched cottage, with a giant pear tree standing in front, its branches full of blooming pear blossoms, adding a touch of immortal energy to the whole cottage...
Outside the thatched cottage, a small square table was set with two small stools. On the table was an antique tea set, and there were only teacups for the mont, though soone inside seed to be brewing tea. Occasionally, faint loud noises and softly humd, tuneless lodies could be heard, suggesting that the person brewing tea was in a fine mood...
All of this was strange to Mo Jiuli, yet unexplainably, her mind cald with it...
After a while, a white-bearded old man descended on a cloud into the small courtyard. Mo Jiuli watched as the old man stepped down, the cloud drifting back to the heavens, her gaze subtly flickering...
Once, she believed that upon reaching the Divine World, she would see the immortals from trees and televisions in the 21st century, riding seven-colored auspicious clouds daily, flying back and forth through the skies. She imagined the Divine World was as beautiful as the Heavenly Palace, like an immortal paradise...
But after acquiring the Divine Mark and becoming a deity, she found that there wasn’t a significant difference in the Divine World. People there were simply more powerful than those on the Haotian Continent and the Lingtian Continent. Dark energy had transford into more concentrated spiritual power, lifespans were longer, and n and won were only slightly more beautiful...
Yet seeing the white-bearded old man arriving on a cloud, Mo Jiuli had the illusion that perhaps this was the real Divine World...
"Elder Bai, I’m here! Is your tea ready yet?" The white-bearded old man sat down on one of the stools and shouted toward the house.
"It’s ready, it’s ready, just a mont. Why are you in such a rush?" A loud voice bood from inside the house.
Not long after, an old man dressed in black clothes, a big smile on his bearded face, walked out with a teapot. He took a seat on the stool and, looking at the old man in white, said with a laugh, "Elder Hei, you’re punctual today, surprisingly not late!"
"Hahaha, naturally! I caught wind that you’re brewing good tea today, so how could I be late?" responded the old man in white with a laugh.
Mo Jiuli watched the screen with the two old n, one dressed in black and the other in white, feeling an inexplicable sense of familiarity that she couldn’t pinpoint! Especially since the one in white was called Elder Hei and the one in a black robe was addressed as Elder Bai, making Mo Jiuli feel quite conflicted as she observed...
