Liu Ruoi was so furious she almost coughed up blood. "You spendthrift!" she exclaid in exasperation. "You’re feeding Jade Liquid to a dog! You’ll be struck by lightning for this!"
"I am good to those who are good to . I won’t be stingy with my Jade Liquid," Zhang Bin said, looking at Liu Ruoi with deep affection.
Liu Ruoi’s face instantly flushed red. She shot Zhang Bin a fierce glare. "I wasn’t being nice to you at all. I was just afraid that you’d be crippled or killed, which would break my sister’s heart."
Zhang Bin didn’t argue. He swept her up by the waist and began sprinting back. Big Fatty naturally scampered along right behind him.
"You idiot! Moron! Are you going back just to get yourself killed?" Liu Ruoi yelled, enraged and frustrated.
"Don’t worry, I can handle it," Zhang Bin said, lowering his head and planting a kiss on her cheek.
Liu Ruoi froze for a mont, then began pounding on his chest. "You Big Bad Egg, how dare you bully ? I’m going to tell my sister..."
"What’s the big deal about your brother-in-law kissing your cheek?" Zhang Bin said nonchalantly.
"Then I suppose sleeping with you is no big deal either?" Liu Ruoi said with a playful pout.
That’s right. Sooner or later, I’ll devour you, Zhang Bin thought to himself, though of course he didn’t say it out loud as he continued to run swiftly.
"Stop, you jerk! Are you really going to get yourself killed?" Liu Ruoi shouted anxiously.
"I can’t bear to part with this dazzling world, much less a beauty as lovely as a flower like you. How could I possibly go looking for death? Relax," Zhang Bin said with a wicked smile.
Could it be that he grew up drinking Jade Liquid as if it were water? Is that why he’s so powerful and isn’t afraid of an expert like Gu Yang? Liu Ruoi had just seen Zhang Bin’s large bottle of Spiritual Water and was starting to believe it, so she stopped struggling. Instead, she wrapped her arms around his neck, a shy blush coloring her face. She was enjoying the feeling of being protected by him.
He’s my brother-in-law. It’s only right for him to care for and protect , she rationalized, feeling entirely at ease and no longer minding his intimate embrace.
