In their presidential suite, Zhang Bin had already left. However, Zhao Dawei and the other two were ecstatic. Zhang Bin had just contacted the Rabbit King, who had agreed to help and was already at work.
The data and graphics for the Underground Biotech Base stored on their laptops were rapidly fusing and rging, gradually forming a much more complete three-dinsional map. It was far clearer than the one they had pieced together. Many areas they hadn't noticed before were now ticulously marked with explanations on the side, indicating ambushes, traps, how to pass them, and how to avoid them.
Of course, this map was still incomplete. The Underground Biological Base was simply too vast, and the many Golden Core Realm and Nascent Soul Realm experts had not yet finished their survey. Maps of so areas had not been sent over, as the work was still in tense progress.
Nevertheless, Zhao Dawei and the others were completely shocked, their faces filled with elation and admiration. They admired the Rabbit King's miraculous abilities to the point of utter awe. The map the three super-skilled computer experts had spent ten days creating was nothing compared to what the Hacker Rabbit King produced in minutes. The gap was just too imnse.
"How did the Rabbit King figure out these traps and chanisms?" Sun Tie asked curiously.
"Is this even accurate? What if it's wrong?" Qian Bing said with a worried expression.
Zhao Dawei furrowed his brow deeply. For the ti being, there was no way to verify it.
Text appeared on the computer screen: "Idiots, why are you doubting ? I obtained much of the data through hacking, which is why I could add it to make the map so complete. My map might have errors, but it will have a hundred tis fewer than yours."
This was, of course, Zhang Bin speaking. And it was the truth. Since he was now right above the Biotech Base and very close to it, the outermost walls of the Biological Base could not block Tutu's probes. Only the central, most important area was beyond Tutu's reach. Therefore, the resulting three-dinsional map was naturally extrely accurate with hardly any errors.
It was precisely because he had detected the entire outline and so of the contents of the Biological Base that Zhang Bin was so utterly shocked. The base was huge, truly like a vast, sprawling underground city. Many areas were covered in rust, appearing ancient. Moreover, according to Tutu, the base's layout was exceptionally rational, achieving a high standard that was, at the very least, far superior to modern architectural layouts on Earth. Tutu had also discovered so technological instrunts inside that were extrely advanced, not far behind the technological level of Xuanwu Star.
Could it be that the Underground Biotech Base below wasn't built by Aricans, but by extraterrestrials? Has it existed for eons? Maybe the extraterrestrials left, abandoning the base, and it was only discovered by the Aricans decades ago. Is that how Arica's technology advanced so rapidly, allowing them to invent the atomic bomb and nuclear weapons, becoming the world's most technologically advanced nation and its superpower? Zhang Bin scread silently in his heart, shaken.
The only inconsistency was, why was the base's overall technology level lower than that of Xuanwu Star? After all, extraterrestrials capable of interstellar travel faster than light must have technology far surpassing Xuanwu Star's.
Could it be that after they arrived on Earth, they were dissatisfied with the environnt and just slapped together a crude base? Is that why the technology level isn't higher?
Despite his doubts, Zhang Bin had developed an imnse interest in this Biological Base. He was also intrigued by the extraterrestrials who had built it, especially since the female extraterrestrial was so stunningly beautiful.
Maybe it's because that beautiful girl died unexpectedly on Earth, so they built a tomb here to bury her… and a tomb wouldn't require the most advanced technology. Zhang Bin's mind raced with wild thoughts, though he himself felt they were absurd and full of contradictions.
Perhaps I should go check out this Biotech Base myself, Zhang Bin muttered to himself. Only by going inside can I truly uncover its secrets.
"Master, if you can infiltrate it, I can quickly determine the base's purpose and objective. I might even be able to ascertain its technological level. Perhaps I could also acquire so special materials and instrunts," Tutu communicated in Zhang Bin's mind.
"We'll see when the ti cos," Zhang Bin said after a mont of consideration.
He had only just cultivated to the Liquid Phase Middle Stage. It would still be very difficult for him to deal with SS-level Genetically Enhanced Humans and Superpower Users. Therefore, if he wanted to get in, his only option was to fish in troubled waters. In a base this massive, Tutu had still found so weaknesses and vulnerable spots. He might be able to use a Flying Sword to drill an opening to get inside. Of course, that was predicated on him using his Pass-Through-Walls Special Ability to get to such a location. He would only do it if he could ensure there was no danger.
「The next day, the second round of the World Gambling Championship began.」
After drawing lots again, the contestants were divided into ten groups. Only the first-place finisher from each group would advance. Once soone advanced, they would be in the top ten.
This ti, the event was a dice roll. Each participant had six dice and a dice cup. Each player had five turns, and the sum of the points from all five rolls would be their final score. This, too, was sothing that couldn't be cheated. It all ca down to skill—how to get the highest possible score amidst vigorous shaking.
If there were only three dice, everyone here could roll three sixes ti after ti. But with six dice, rolling all sixes was imnsely difficult. None of them had absolute confidence they could do it. Of course, masters with control-type Special Abilities might be able to pull it off. For soone like Zhang Bin, who only possessed Telekinesis, it was much harder. The dice cup acted as a barrier, making it difficult to control how the dice landed.
Of course, there were techniques that could work. For example, one could use a Special Ability to press the dice against the top of the cup and then let them fall gently, which might result in all sixes. But if the dice rolled even slightly, the result would be ruined.
This is a problem. Zhang Bin's expression changed slightly. When he practiced rolling six dice in the Virtual World, he could only get all sixes two or three tis out of five. This ant he had no guarantee of winning. Looking at the other nine contestants, most of their faces were filled with confidence, as if they were sure of victory.
After having Tutu look up so information, Zhang Bin was left speechless. Three of the contestants had control-type Special Abilities. Their control was so powerful that they could roll all sixes at least four out of five tis. If they were lucky, they could do it all five tis.
What am I supposed to do? How can I possibly win?
