These n looked utterly stupefied. Forgetting to attack Zhang Bin, they all shot back like lightning. They moved so fast that most of them slamd violently into the walls. Terrifyingly, the walls suddenly sprouted nurous chanical arms, which instantly bound them tight.
The traps in this room were designed to handle masters of the Golden Core Realm. They were extrely powerful; for example, the iron cages were equipped with 100,000 volts of high-voltage electricity. If soone were to be trapped inside one, escape would be impossible. The chanical arms, for instance, were all forged from special materials recovered from the Ancient Underground Base. Not even a Flying Sword could sever them in a single strike.
Thus, despite their great power, these n couldn't struggle free. They each cried out in panic, "Boss, why are you using the traps on us? We've been nothing but loyal to you!"
"It wasn't ! It wasn't ... The system's gone haywire!" Edward, utterly enraged, frantically mashed the buttons on the bed that were ant to raise the iron cages and retract the chanical arms. Unfortunately, there was no response whatsoever, as if the entire trap system had failed.
"Impossible, absolutely impossible..." Edward shrieked in panic.
Zhang Bin had Tutu raise the empty iron cages. He then slowly walked up to Edward's cage. "Edward," he said with a sinister smile, "I told you a long ti ago. Your foolish attempt to kill , to make an enemy of , Zhang Bin, would only end with you dying at my hands. But you refused to believe it. So, tell , how do you plan to die?"
"Zhang Bin, don't celebrate too soon," Edward barked, his face ashen. "The mont you entered Golden Sands Hospital, you walked into a deathtrap. There's no way out for you."
"Golden Sands Hospital is like my own ho. How could it be a deathtrap for ?" Zhang Bin said proudly. "On the contrary, you're the one with wolfish ambitions. You dared to covet my woman and have designs on my wealth. You're simply courting death. Did you really think an idiot like you could deal with , Zhang Bin?"
"You..." Edward feigned extre rage while secretly trying to make a phone call to contact the hospital's top experts. To his dismay, his phone had no signal at all. He couldn't contact anyone. He then started mashing the call buttons for nurses and doctors, but again, there was no response.
"How on earth did you do this?" Edward's expression changed dramatically as he asked in disbelief.
"Given your intelligence, you wouldn't understand even if I explained it," Zhang Bin said with a wicked chuckle. "Besides, you're about to et Yama in Hell, so you can stop asking so many questions."
"Zhang Bin, you're naive if you think you can kill this easily," Edward said with a cold laugh. "Everyone, together now! Get out!"
The instant he finished speaking, the iron cage trapping him miraculously lifted into the air, freeing him. The cage then shot like lightning toward Zhang Bin. As Zhang Bin dodged, the cage holding Buck also rose miraculously, freeing him as well.
This was, of course, the masterpiece of several mbers working together, using their Telekinesis. After all, even though the chanical arms restrained their bodies, they could still use their Special Abilities. Far from panicking, their faces broke into sinister grins. If they were ordinary people, they would have been helpless. But they were powerful Superpower Users, capable of wielding their abilities from a distance. They were absolutely confident they could still easily kill Zhang Bin.
Buck moved like lightning to stand in front of Edward, a cold, taunting smile on his face. "Zhang Bin, you'd better make that call and get your woman over here. Otherwise, you'll be turned into a pile of mince in an instant. There will be no escape."
Edward also sneered with contempt. "There are so many of us. Even though we can't move, killing you will be as easy as killing a dog."
"Very well," Zhang Bin said with a sinister smile. "Let show you what a pig roast looks like."
The mont he spoke, the walls erupted in a blinding electrical light. It was a terrifying 100,000 volts of high-voltage electricity. The experts bound by the chanical arms imdiately let out bloodcurdling screams. Then, one by one, black smoke began to billow from their bodies, and the scent of roasting at filled the air.
In the space of a few breaths, all ten experts from the Hell Organization were dead. This was especially true for the seven of them who were top masters—SS-level Psychics, equivalent to Cultivators at the Initial Stage of Gold Core. They were all reduced to charred corpses, not a single one left.
Such was the terrifying power of technology. True Cultivators might have been able to resist for a while. Superpower Users, however, had much weaker Defensive Power and were far more fragile. They stood no chance and were killed instantly.
Zhang Bin hadn't ordered Tutu to activate the high-voltage trap from the start because he hadn't wanted to kill so many people. Such a massacre would go against the harmony of the heavens and would not benefit him during his future Heavenly Tribulation. However, by working together to free Edward and Buck, they had shown their determination to fight him to the death. If Zhang Bin didn't kill them, they would kill him. He had no choice but to strike first and send them all to Hell.
"You... you're so vicious," Edward stamred, so furious his eyes looked ready to pop.
"Zhang Bin, the Hell Organization will make sure you're the one who goes to Hell!" Buck yelled venomously.
In reality, their anger was overshadowed by terror. Electrifying the tal walls with high voltage was no simple feat. There was no switch in the room to do so; not even Edward had that authority. Only the director of Golden Sands Hospital possessed such power. This was because electrifying the walls could easily injure hospital staff by accident. Indeed, many of this hospital's walls were made of steel and equipped with terrifying chanisms, an imitation of the layout of the underground bases. It was a prototype developed by Arica through the slow study and mastery of those sa bases.
Yet Zhang Bin had sohow electrified all the walls—a feat they couldn't even have imagined. Their losses were catastrophic; the Hell Organization's overall strength had just been reduced by at least three percent.
"Of all the people to provoke, you just had to co after , Zhang Bin," he said, standing ramrod straight in the doorway, radiating a murderous aura. "Let tell you, I am your nightmare. I ca to kill you today, and neither of you is getting out of here alive."
Of course, these two wouldn't be easy to kill. They were both top-tier SS-level Psychics, equivalent to Cultivators at the Middle or even Late Stage of the Golden Core Realm. But now, Zhang Bin controlled the room's chanisms, and Edward was missing both legs. Killing them was not impossible.
"Co on, then! Let's see what you've got," Buck challenged as a sharp Cleaving Knife materialized in his hand.
Edward, however, remained seated on the bed, his eyes flickering with a strange light. It seed he was about to unleash an unbelievably terrifying Special Ability.
