Just as Zhang Bin’s sche was about to succeed, the door banged open.
Liu Ruoi, holding a key, rushed in furiously. Upon seeing the scene in the room, she shouted angrily, "Zhang Bin, how dare you deceive my sister! I’m going to kill you!"
She pounced like a tiger, throwing a fierce punch at Zhang Bin’s back.
Infuriated that his perfect mont had been ruined by Liu Ruoi, Zhang Bin swiftly turned and grabbed her fist. But she had already thrown her full weight at him, knocking him to the ground. The two of them began to grapple, rolling around on the floor.
anwhile, Liu Ruolan had regained her senses and fled into the bathroom.
Naturally, Liu Ruoi was no match for Zhang Bin. He quickly subdued her, pinning her so she couldn’t move. Yet she was still seething. "You scoundrel! How dare you use such despicable tricks to bully my sister! You’re disgusting!"
"How am I being despicable?" Zhang Bin retorted, flustered. "If you don’t believe , just wait. When your sister washes her face and cos out, you’ll see the miraculous effect."
But how could Liu Ruoi believe him? She had never seen how Zhang Bin had cured her grandfather. She was furious and continued to argue sharply, "A beauty treatnt? You think I’ve never seen one before? They require special products, and even then, the effects aren’t guaranteed. Where are your products? Where are they?"
The two of them engaged in a fierce war of words.
After only about ten minutes, Liu Ruolan erged, looking shy. She said with a hint of annoyance, "Alright, what are you two making such a fuss about?"
"Sis, why aren’t you angry at him?" Liu Ruoi asked in disbelief.
"He was telling the truth. Look at my face," Liu Ruolan said gleefully.
Liu Ruoi’s eyes widened. She stood there, completely dumbfounded.
Liu Ruolan’s face had beco like a piece of the finest white jade—pure and flawless, as if her pores had vanished. Her skin was so delicate it looked as if it would bruise at a touch. It seed to radiate a soft glow, making her look exceptionally beautiful and alluring. She was even more beautiful than before.
"Oh my god, how is that possible?"
Utterly shocked, Liu Ruoi shoved Zhang Bin away, leaped to her feet, and scrutinized her sister’s face, unable to look away. Finally, she snapped out of it and spun around, her fervent gaze now fixed on Zhang Bin.
Zhang Bin was now lying lazily on the floor, a devilish smile playing on his lips. He looked every bit the part of a Big Bad Egg.
However, Liu Ruoi couldn’t care less about that. She said, her voice full of anticipation, "Zhang Bin, give a beauty treatnt, too."
"No ti," Zhang Bin said proudly, pulling his hand back.
"My sister won’t let you touch her until after your gender reassignnt surgery," Liu Ruoi said triumphantly.
"Gender reassignnt surgery?" Zhang Bin was so angered by her words he nearly spat blood. "I’m going to get so rest. You two should rest as well."
With that, he strode out the door.
Liu Ruoi was flabbergasted. She imdiately jumped up, chased after him, and grabbed his arm, pulling him toward her own room. "My dear brother-in-law, please give your little sister-in-law a beauty treatnt..."
Liu Ruolan, who heard everything clearly from her room, was both embarrassed and annoyed, but she felt helpless. If she were in Liu Ruoi’s shoes, she probably would have done the sa thing.
How could Zhang Bin resist Liu Ruoi’s wheedling? He said with so resignation, "Alright, I’ll give you a beauty treatnt, but it has to be in your sister’s room."
"Then let’s go!"
Liu Ruoi didn’t care about the location at all. She cheered and happily pulled Zhang Bin back into Liu Ruolan’s room.
However, Liu Ruolan said delicately, "I’m a bit tired. I need to rest. Please don’t disturb . Just go to your own room."
Could Sister Lan be testing ? Zhang Bin wondered excitedly. Is she preparing to accept ? I must pass this test.
So, he steeled himself and went to Liu Ruoi’s room to give her the beauty treatnt.
When it was finally finished, he tore his gaze away from the tempting sight and started to walk out. "Alright, you can go wash your face now. You’ll see the effect then."
"You big idiot," Liu Ruoi said with a mischievous grin. "My sister doesn’t have a Special Ability. She can’t sense any of my feelings at all. Only I can sense hers."
Zhang Bin froze. Is this a trap? he wondered. Or is she expressing her feelings for ? The latter seems impossible. Sure, I might be drop-dead gorgeous, but there’s no way Liu Ruoi could have fallen for so quickly, right?
His eyes darted cunningly, and he flashed a wicked smile. "Well then, how about we give another place a beauty treatnt?"
The question was a perfect gambit; he could advance or retreat. He stood to gain, and she stood to lose, all without giving Liu Ruolan any reason to bla him.
