Huo Yao paused and said, “I have read your files. Only a few bacteria were listed in them. From the looks of it, there should be more.”
Lei Xiao’s eyes lit up after hearing this. She was undoubtedly a genius. He nodded and replied. “You’re right. We are unable to figure out what other bacteria does it contain.”
Huo Yao pondered briefly and said in an unusually serious tone, “Where the hell did you get this from?”
She pointed at the sample in the glass receptacle.
Lei Xiao replied candidly. “We developed it with a foreign academic body and the sample was provided by them.”

Since this was top secret research, he could not go into further detail.
Huo Yao went quiet for a few seconds and said, “Biochemical viruses can synthesize indefinitely.”
Lei Xiao opened his eyes in shock. “Huh? A biochemical virus?”
“I don’t know why you are researching this, but I suggest you stop it immediately. The moment someone gets infected, it will be a true catastrophe,” said Huo Yao firmly.
Lei Xiao looked at the glass receptacle in shock. He agreed that this was no laughing matter, but it was probably harder to cease the project than start a new one.
Huo Yao looked at Lei Xiao as he looked at the sample in shock. She pondered and said, “I can help you find out what bacteria it contains, and that’s all the help you’re going to get from me. It’s down to the institute to make a decision about my suggestion.”
The moment she finished her sentence, she walked to the side.
Lei Xiao stood where he was as he watched from behind. No one could tell what he was thinking.
Huo Yao stopped talking. Instead, she picked up her laptop once again.
She had promised the Virus Research Institute to help, so she was not going back on her word, even though she hated biochemical viruses.
For most of the day, Huo Yao kept working on structural analysis, but she did not make much progress.

Huo Yao received a call from Assistant Wang at 3:00 pm. He mentioned that the Chinese herbs she needed were ready and wanted to send them over to her.
“I’m not in school today. Why don’t you give me an address so that I can send someone to collect them?” Huo Yao pondered before saying.
Assistant Wang went quiet briefly before he said, “I have something to say to you in person.”
Huo Yao contemplated briefly and replied. “Okay then. Tell me where you are and I’ll e over later.”
When Huo Yao agreed to see him in person, Assistant Wang sighed in relief. “Do you think you could e straight to the association?”
He paused before he said apologetically, “Things are quite chaotic at the association. Do you mind ing over?”
Huo Yao did not think deeply. Since Lei Xiao’s place was relatively close to the Apothecaries’ Association, she simply agreed.
“In that case, call me when you get here,” replied Assistant Wang hurriedly.
Huo Yao replied. “Sure.”
After hanging up the phone, the smile on Assistant Wang’s face disappeared. He was unsure if he had done the right thing.
Assistant Wang sat behind his desk for some time and exhaled deeply. He proceeded to stand up and walk over to Deputy Chairman Qin’s office.
Deputy Chairman Qin happened to be on the phone. When he saw Assistant Wang standing at the door, he hung up the call and asked. “Did she agree to e over?”
