Meanwhile, Huo Yao took out her phone as she walked out of the association. She called Chen Ming. “Uncle Ming, have you reached the place I sent you yet?”
Chen Ming gestured to his men and said softly, “I’m here. I’m about to enter.”
“Uh huh. Take care.” Huo Yao narrowed her eyes. “I’ll be right over.”
“Yes, Miss Huo.”
After hanging up the phone, Huo Yao put it away. Zhuo Yun heard she was going somewhere, so he asked. “Where are you going, Miss Huo? I can take you there.”
Huo Yao had gotten a ride from Zhuo Yun when she came over, so she did not turn down the offer and gave him the address.
“This place is quite close to the Apothecaries’ Association,” said Zhuo Yun as he opened the car door for Huo Yao. “I think we can reach there in roughly ten minutes.”
“Uh huh.” Huo Yao nodded. She got into the car and put on her seatbelt. After she was done, she took out her phone and changed it to puter mode.
