1582 More Like Stupid
The sky was already a little dark when Huo Yao left the Physics department. From the looks of it, it was going to rain soon.
Huo Yulin was waiting outside the campus for Huo Yao. Just as he was about to send her a text message, he raised his head and saw her walking out of school, so he put his phone back into his pocket.
“Brother Yulin, did you wait for long?” asked Huo Yao after walking over to him.
Huo Yulin had a fair plexion and looked like a man from a rich and powerful family. He smiled and replied. “Not at all. I just got here.”
Huo Yao nodded. As she walked to the roadside, she took out her phone. “Let me send Shang… the kid a text message.”

She had made plans to have dinner with Shangguan Yun.
Huo Yulin nodded in agreement.
Before long, the two of them got into the car and drove straight to No.1 Middle School.
When they got there, it was already beginning to rain. Thankfully, the rain was not very heavy. After pulling up by the roadside, Huo Yao saw a stupid young man standing outside the school entrance.
He was not holding an umbrella, so some light rain fell on him. Since he was not dressed warmly, he crossed his arms and looked like he was freezing.
Huo Yao wanted to pretend that she did not know this idiot. She took out her phone and called Shangguan Yun.
Shangguan Yun heard the phone ringing, so he pulled out his phone while he trembled. Just as he was about to answer it, the caller hung up the phone. Instead, he could hear a car honking from the roadside.
He automatically raised his head and looked in that direction. A car window opened and Huo Yao’s profile could be seen.
Shangguan Yun’s eyes lit up as he hurriedly ran toward the car in the rain.
“Are you so poor that you have no clothes to wear?” After he got into the car, Huo Yao asked him coolly.
Shangguan Yun was at a loss and remained quiet.
Shangguan Yun pulled the corner of his uniform and explained softly. “I came out in a hurry and forgot.”
“More like stupid you mean?” scoffed Huo Yao coldly.
Shangguan Yun touched his nose without answering her. He seemed accustomed to Huo Yao’s bullying. Instead, he furtively raised his head and glanced at Huo Yulin in the driver’s seat.
He could only see the back of Huo Yulin’s head.
From the moment Shangguan Yun got into the car, Huo Yulin had started observing him through the rearview mirror.
The young man was 15 to 16 years old. He had handsome features and a clean aura. At a glance, he did not seem like someone from a rural town.
Instead, he seemed like a kid from a powerful family.
The boy gave him the same feeling when he first met his little sister.
“Brother Yulin, you can call him Yun.” Huo Yao reverted to her normal obedient self and introduced the boy to Huo Yulin.
Huo Yulin glanced at Huo Yao and felt intrigued by this new side of her. His little sister seemed capable of changing her expression in a split second.
It was the first time he was seeing this.
Huo Yulin glanced into the rearview mirror and greeted Shangguan Yun politely. “Nice to meet you.”
Huo Yao turned her head and saw Shangguan Yun trying to squeeze his clothes dry. She pulled a piece of tissue from the box in the car and said in disdain, “You can call him Brother Yulin as well.”
Shangguan Yun caught Huo Yao looking at her and promptly sat up straight. He greeted the older guy obediently. “Hi, Brother Yulin.”
Huo Yao veered her eyes satisfactorily.
Huo Yulin did not know what to say.
Before long, the car pulled up at the parking lot outside the restaurant.
They had already made a reservation, so the manager was waiting at the door. The moment he spotted them, he weled them reverently and instructed the kitchen to start preparing the food.
