Huo Yao veered her head to look at Min Yu. She naturally knew about the archaeological team's trip to Misty Forest last year. It was none other than the Forbidden Forest the village chief had mentioned.
Prof Min was previously injured. The pollen found on him could only be found in Misty Forest.
As for the time travel machine… Huo Yao narrowed her eyes. Some things quickly ran through her mind. She asked, "Oh yes. Do you know how long the Archaeology Association has been around?"
When Huo Yao suddenly asked about the Archaeology Association's history, Min Yu pondered. "I think over a century maybe? I don't know for sure. However, Sheng Ying only started working as the chairman 16 years ago."

Mirage Base was established by King a couple of decades ago.
Huo Yao nodded. For now, she was unable to link both establishments in terms of age.
Only one thing was certain. King and Sheng Ying might seem like they had nothing in mon at all, but in fact, some things between them overlapped.
Mirage Base worked on the most advanced technology in the world while the Archaeology Association focused on matters that could not be answered using Science.
Such as the buried floating underground palace.
Or the time travel machine that Min Yu mentioned.
Both matters were linked to the Shangguan clan in one way or another.
Before long, Min Yu's voice could be heard. He interrupted Huo Yao's thoughts. "Does this mean that the time travel machine exists?"
As Min Yu spoke, he had already e up with conclusions of his own.
The Shangguan clan was most well-known for bringing the dead back to life using their incredible medical abilities. However, if it was just medical abilities alone, they probably would not have to resort to going into seclusion.
Moreover, mon things found in the village were far better than the ones available outside.
Huo Yao gathered her thoughts. She pondered and replied, "It's true."
Min Yu looked at her waiting for her to say more.
The village chief was already done making a simple dinner and was standing at the door. When he saw Huo Yao and Min Yu still chatting, he did not interrupt them and tell them dinner was ready.
Huo Yao laughed and said softly, "People who have tried to learn the truth usually die."
Min Yu paused briefly. He seemed to understand what she meant and suddenly tightened his grip on her hand.
Before he was able to speak, Huo Yao raised her chin at the village chief. "e on. I will take you to find the answers after dinner."
She needed some answers as well. King had already died once and she wanted to know his true identity.
Seeing this, Min Yu could only suppress all the questions he had.

Meanwhile, on the other end.
Shangguan Tong held her phone. No matter how she tried, she kept getting notifications informing her that Huo Yao was out of the service area.
As she thought about her previous conversation with Huo Yao, a serious look appeared on her face.
In reality, before leaving the clan, she had already made plans to enter the restricted area and destroy everything when she came back.
Sadly, her plans had to change. Mirage Base was losing patience and wanted access to the restricted area.
