Although Loren had given Laila quite a few things before, those were all things that could at least be asured by value.
But Spirit-Wisdom Enlightennt was different. Saying this magical potion could alter the world's power dynamics wouldn't be an exaggeration. Countless important figures were tornted by their lack of magical talent.
"Innocence invites disaster when one possesses a treasure. You should drink it quickly, then it's over. No one will know I have this."
Luna, on the other hand, didn't have too intense a reaction, because this was already beyond her comprehension. To her, a fourth-tier potion and a seventh-tier potion were no different—both were things that could buy her life.

"Can I have another bottle?"
Anna handed the empty bottle to Loren. Loren sowhat regretted making the potion taste so good.
"Alright, hurry up and drink it. I'm going out to walk the bird."
After handing out the potions, Loren left ho with Starnight.
After drinking the potion, Naclis went to practice magic. Upon discovering the changes in herself, she felt a surge of joy and imdiately began practicing magic with even greater diligence.
Hearing Loren's words, Laila no longer hesitated and imdiately drank the potion. She then attempted a spell she previously couldn't cast, succeeding instantly. She couldn't help but marvel at the power of Spirit-Wisdom Enlightennt.
As witches, their innate talent was already formidable. Spirit-Wisdom Enlightennt was like adding flowers to brocade for them.
Except for Scarlett. She still couldn't do it. The price of obtaining an overpowered Arcane Ability was sowhat steep. Even if she were given a cheat to boost her intelligence to a thousand points, if her IQ wasn't up to par, she still couldn't accomplish anything.
"Do you want it too?"
Loren noticed Starnight had been staring intently at the potions in the witches' hands, so he asked. Surprisingly, Starnight actually nodded.
"That's used to improve a person's magical aptitude. Do you know magic?"
Starnight stood on Loren's finger. Loren gently stroked the feathers on top of her head with his finger.
Just as Loren finished asking, Starnight suddenly let out a chirp, and imdiately, so vines sprouted from the ground, binding Loren's feet.
"Whoa, you really can?"
Hearing Loren's exclamation, Starnight proudly lifted her head. She had been listening during Loren's lectures all this ti, and she usually stood on Loren's shoulder when he was modifying magic, so she had naturally learned quite a bit.
"What else can you do? Show ."
Loren happily cupped Starnight in his hands. He didn't find it strange that he could communicate with Starnight without barriers. She could cast magic, so what was so odd about understanding human speech?
This ti, Starnight didn't cast imdiately. Instead, she gathered her strength for a long ti before letting out another chirp.
Imdiately after, a cluster of flas appeared before Starnight. The flas looked very familiar. Loren directly placed his hand on them and didn't suffer any harm.
"Is this Sin-Burning Flas?"
Realizing Starnight had successfully cast a sixth-tier spell, Loren still couldn't quite hold back his shock. Many Magical Beasts could use magic, but Loren had always thought Starnight was just an ordinary nightingale, until she used Sin-Burning Flas.
Even Magical Beasts that could use magic typically only cast their innate, companion spells. But Starnight could genuinely learn magic on her own—a feat even so Magical Beasts with extrely high intelligence couldn't accomplish.
Not to ntion, Starnight's talent had surpassed that of the witches Loren was raising. Even the most diligent Naclis couldn't use Sin-Burning Flas yet.
Loren couldn't help himself. He cupped Starnight before him and gave her a kiss.
"I'll brew a potion for you next week once the Tear of Condensed Wishes recovers."
Loren was very surprised at this mont. The advantage of Starnight being able to cast magic was enormous. Her body was so small, and her appearance was that of an ordinary nightingale. She would be absolutely deadly for sneak attacks.
"Here's your reward."
Loren took out a box of cookies, tossed one piece into the air. Starnight instantly flew after it.
"Caw..."
A black shadow suddenly flashed by. Before Starnight could snatch the cookie, a crow had bitten into it. It stood on a high perch, looking down condescendingly at Loren and Starnight.
Not just one. More and more crows gathered, a dark, oppressive mass. The scene was quite spectacular.
However, Loren didn't find it too strange. So many people had died here recently;
it was normal for crows to gather.
Starnight, furious that her cookie was stolen, charged directly at the crow.
"Be careful!"
Although Starnight knew magic, her physical strength was insufficient. She could genuinely be solo-killed by a crow if she wasn't careful.
However, the crow didn't seem to pay Starnight any mind. It landed directly on Loren. A flock of crows surrounded Loren.
Seeing this, Starnight grew even more frantic. She let out a chirp, and vines instantly sprouted, Entangling toward the crows on Loren. However, the crows all flew away a step ahead, once again perching on high ground.
This ti, Starnight had no intention of leaving Loren's side. She remained on his shoulder, glaring at these bad birds with hostile eyes.
Stealing food was one thing, but trying to steal her owner too?
"Let's go back first."
Loren also sensed sothing was off and took Starnight back ho.
Loren had been targeted by Pleasure Believers before, so he was being very cautious now.
Loren didn't detect any malice from those crows. It was normal for small animals to be drawn to him, but Loren was always very cautious.
After all, he couldn't detect malice from Pleasure Believers either, because they genuinely just wanted to play with him.
Actually, those Pleasure Believers were sowhat of a counter to Loren because their thods were too bizarre, preventing Loren from foreseeing things. This feeling of not being in full control was unpleasant.
Moreover, they likely had little to no fear, so the effects of Requiem weren't very useful against them. Severing a person's hope, then causing instant death—that was the most powerful aspect of Requiem.
Loren looked up at the sky. He knew there was a Starry Sky Whale up there. It was the most powerful creature in this world, and the experience gained from killing it would be an utterly terrifying amount.
The Starry Sky Whale was strong. So strong that even the Orthodox Gods couldn't kill it. So strong that it remained alive even after being eroded by Outer Gods for thousands of years. But Loren had a way to kill it.
Since long ago, the Starry Sky Whale had harbored a death wish. But it was too powerful;
it couldn't even die if it wanted to.
Therefore, as long as Requiem struck it, it would cause instant death. The only difficulty was how to find it.
Even the Dragon, most adept at flying, couldn't reach such heights. Regarding this, Loren could only take things one step at a ti for now and seize the opportunity later if it arose.
Another week passed. Loren also brewed a Spirit-Wisdom Enlightennt potion for Starnight. Loren always preferred to play it safe, so he had prepared several extra sets of materials in advance. Thus, once the Tear of Condensed Wishes recovered, he could brew it directly.
Also on that day, a Robed Figure traversed half the world to find Loren. When she removed her hood, Loren saw her face—only half of it remained.
