Its fur carried a black stripe near its feline-like eyes, signaling its role as the leader. "Awooo…" The howl sent shivers through the air, and with it, the wolves jumped forward in unison.

Alex counted the timing. Just an inch away before their fangs reached him, he smashed his mace to the ground. 'Seismic Blast.'

The ground trembled as the shockwave erupted, sending the entire pack flying backward. Numbers flashed briefly above each wolf as they were launched.

The wolf landed and imdiately looked back at Alex, its claws digging into the dirt. In an instant, it charged again. Alex raised his mace to block, but the beast's weight pushed him back several steps. He gritted his teeth and planted his feet firmly. "Alright, your turn," he muttered, shoving the alpha off and following up with a quick overhead strike. "Crushing Blow!"

BAM! The hit connected with the wolf's flank, forcing a pained yelp as the damage numbers flickered above.

But the alpha wasn't done. It staggered only for a mont before leaping high into the air. Alex's eyes widened—it was aiming for his head. He rolled to the side as the beast crashed down where he had stood monts before, claws tearing through the dirt. "A jumping attack? That's new," Alex muttered. He turned back just in ti to see the alpha circling him.

The beast leaped again, this ti faking left before darting right. Its claws scraped against his armor, sending him stumbling.

Bam! The shockwave exploded outward, catching the alpha mid-step. The wolf was thrown off balance and crashed to the ground, whimpering as the damage appeared.

The alpha scrambled to its feet, but its movents were slower now. Blood matted its fur where the mace had struck. Sensing an opening, Alex pressed forward. "Ti to finish this!" He swung his mace in a wide arc, aiming for the alpha's exposed side. But the wolf wasn't done yet. It ducked under the swing and lunged, its jaws clamping down on Alex's arm.
