Kael's voice carried over, still smiling. "Bind it. Don't waste ti playing with trash."

The soldier clicked his tongue, annoyed at being corrected, then snapped a glowing rope down.

It wrapped the Felidaean's arms and neck.

The mont he struggled, the rope tightened until his whole body shook and went limp.

"Captured," the soldier announced, proud. "Two points."

"Wrong," Kael said, laughing again. "That one is a male." He pointed at the collar. "One point. Learn to look."

The squad laughed at the soldier.

The soldier's face twitched, but he forced a grin. "Then I'll take a juvenile next."

"Try," Kael replied, like he was enjoying this more than the killing.
